It's just like SWAT tank/ Fire Truck. Keep on spraying till there is ammo. No matter how much good you are at shooting, this spray can abuse is gonna ruin you. There must be a cool down of 5 seconds after spraying someone for 3 seconds. Or maybe @Mike should decide it. But please stop this abuse.

Spray cans and fire extinguishers do have serious disadvantages, other weapons do not have. The spraying suspect can easily be taken down by any of your friends nearby, while he can't do nothing about it with his weapon of choice.

Ummm...if you bounty me and i bounty you, and you kill me, my bounty has been canceled on you because i died...my suggestion is this, cancel bounty after player dies.

If I bounty you and you bounty me, we are not supposed to hunt at our own placed bounties....

You can't enter the shooting range with a wanted level, so someone can't hide there during an active fight in which he participates. Also you can't instantly enter the shooting range again.

If someone is going into the shooting range over and over again, while getting shot by you and without shooting back, he will die. I don't see the problem really.

If you mean car alarm, that already exists. When a player steals a car, once he drives near an officer he gets 1-star level, and the police officer can impound the vehicle.

I think he means something more like towing cars, for mechanics, but implemented like alarm for house.

Personally I'm not in favour, as like you say you actually get notified of stolen vehicles already. If you want to pick up stolen cars, you can become mechanic. -1

As you approached me on Discord, and we've been in contact from the start of you playing on this server, I've taken an extensive look into your case and this appeal.

The ban reason and details for your ban are: "Ban evasion - Yassin@ - You thought you could ban evade."

In your appeal you give the ban ID 533. That one does not belong to the particular ban you are appealing too, which should've been 933. Ban ID 533 is an earlier issued ban, against the user with the username "yassin@".

I did take an extensive look into both your and yassin@'s account history. I did notice you (wT_shanks) connect from the same Tunisian access provider all the time. Yassin@ has been connecting from another Tunisian access provider in the past, but at least his most recent login (1 day ago) has been from the same access provider you've been using all the time.

Further both his and your GPCI have been the same at the last login. Although ones GPCI is not always unique and you both originating from Tunisia may be a contributing factor to it being the same, it does not make your appeal any stronger.


I do not know the exact reason why the administrator, who has banned you, believes you are the same player as yassin@. That being said you issuing the ban id of a ban issued to yassin@, having the same access provider and GPCI however makes me decide to leave the ban intact. The more because the arabic numerals for five and nine are not that easy to mix up. If you feel my judgement is in error, feel free to make an appeal following the correct format.

I judge this appeal as invalid.

My total playtime on this server is over 2 months, and so far the issue as described in the opening post only happened once or twice to me. This while my game actually crashes far too often. So far I also didn't notice huge amounts of players ending up in jail, over game crashes.

Arent there any admins on this server? Everything can be abused, if someone 'crashes' to often, he gets report and handled with. Come on what are admins supposed to do than? I have a good connection and i crash all the time.

This month I've been active for over 90 hours, of which most of the time spent on handling reports and assisting new players. So don't be bothered by the illusion staff may not have something better to do.

If you ask me ending up in jail every now and then isn't much of an issue. I understand the frustration, but it's not like fugitives don't get arrested anywhere over minor technical issues. In fact I think it unintentionally adds to the game a bit. Further most of your progress is saved, except for weapons you carried and the event you were doing.

I see you actually bring up two issues in your appeal. One being the issued infraction, worth 3 infraction points, for the usage of British slang and the other me being gay and acting as such on the server. Although I think you should file a staff complaint for the latter, I will take my personal freedom to respond on it. (I will do that later, in a separate reply on this topic.)

Issue of the infraction.
Days ago I indeed issued an infraction, for usage of the word cool dude. You clearly used the word as an insult, towards another player. As such I believe the infraction was fair.

The amount of points I gave for the infraction I decided on multiple contributing factors. First and foremost another player received the same amount of points for the same offense. In that regard I didn't see any objective reasons to issue a lower amount of infraction points, to you. That being said, I did check your earlier infractions, in order to be sure you didn't get banned over this incident. In such a case I (personally) would've issued a lower amount of infraction points.

Your appeal
You said you used a slang word as you all say it in the UK. You further write you were not aware of the rule.

I understand you were not aware of the rule at the moment I issued the infraction. However, it was only 14 minutes later you for the first time tried to let others say the same word. In your fourth and fifth attempt you wrote the following:

and

Unless you have any kind of proof you Brits use homosexual and cigarette interchangeably, I believe your defense here is utter nonsense. Actually I feel like you have based it on something I wrote earlier myself, when you brought up the issue of using this word, again.

I think I've been very understanding with your hurt feelings and have shown a lot of patience with your behaviour the last couple of days. As you know trying to let others break the same rule as you did, wasn't the last you did. You actually continued using the word and didn't mind to insult me well, for an action I took as a moderator. One of such insults I attached as an image, to freshen up your memory a bit. How many infractions did I give you for all of that? Exactly, none. It qualified for more than 10 points, i.e. a ban, though.

Conclusion: I will not retract your infraction points. I actually feel sorry for being too patient with you.

Thanks for your reply. I can see where you're coming from and I understand your actions. It came to my mind as well that the scene I described in this topic was not the one that might have resulted in my PSO and infraction, however, I didn't give it too much of a thought. Anyway, may I ask who the player I unfairly killed was? (I'm pretty sure it was oussem[a], right? If so, I have video evidence which might prove him wrong about the report)

You may ask who the player was who reported you, but we don't disclose the reports or the players reporting. I'm sorry.

All I can say is that I checked your actions, as well as those of the reported playing, thoroughly to make sure I made the right decision. The other player was not MW, has not been a threat to any player (i.e. not aimed at anyone nor shot/punched anyone) for quite some time and didn't have interactions with you which could be interpreted as such and were logged on the server. Serious, it was really, really clear from the logs. (Please note: all actions are logged.)

If you want to discuss any video evidence you think is relevant, please contact me on Discord. I wouldn't mind taking a look at it. I don't feel like this is the right place though to go through all video footage you might have of you gaming. Quite some time passed in between the report and the moment I took a look in it. Big chance we will start looking into an awful lot of non related incidents.

Thanks for your appeal. I appreciate it you want to clear this situation up and get the story straight. I also appreciate it how you back another player, with who you were teaming at the moment the PSO and infraction were issued.

You did however not receive this PSO and infraction for the situation you three were in, at the moment I issued it.

We received a report earlier, from another player, which I investigated. From the actions of that reporting player, as well as your actions, it became (very) clear he could have been no threat to you. He had not done anything which could, even remotely, be interpreted as that. (E.g. no recent violent behaviour nor actions towards you.)

For that I issued you an infraction with zero infraction points. I believe that counts as a fair warning and I actually hoped, and still hope, it would help you to become a better cop. It probably went unnoticed in the little conversation we had, in-game, but I did not in any way wanted to punish you badly or discourage you to play on this server, the way you do. The PSO is standard in situations as obvious as this, but I trust you don't get too many of those.

He reported he didn't receive the money for the sold house. That's untrue, as he deposited in the bank.

Can't confirm he has the money in his bank account, but he most likely has. If not, that would be a different bug as described in this bug report. So no issue here.
