Make /surrender actually useful

Mw will abuse it to prevent players from killing them, in that way the avoid loosing K/D

I don't see how that's really an issue.
The point of the command is so that you can "cooperate" with the cops for less jail time.
Do you think cops that outnumber you deserve the K/D?

I have a better idea. Just make it so that cuffed/arrested  wanted criminals  that were on /surrender will get triple less jail time/bail. That will make it more worth it.

There is already reduced jail time and bail from using /surrender, however the issue I'm raising in this topic is that a lot of cops do not respect /surrender and do not allow you to use it (by constantly shooting at you). A threat suspect should be allowed to surrender to the cops.

I have a couple ideas as to make /surrender actually work in these scenarios where the cops don't care.

  1. Forcing the player into the animation state and making them invulnerable.

  2. Make /surrender work like the "turn yourself in" option at the police departments, but only when cops are near.

  3. Places you in the animation (but not forceably) and removes your threat status and ability to use your weapons.

  4. Allow usage of the command even when being shot at and add a cop rule that makes cops respect the command.

Obviously some of these are more flawed than others, but I think 2 or 3 would work pretty well. 1, which was my initial suggestion, definitely has some potential for abuse, and mitigating that would result in some scenarios where the player could end up trapped in this state. 4, would be the easiest for the developers, but would simply not be followed by the cops.

+1 for this as I have seen many cops that proceed with finishing the suspect rather arresting him when suspects have done /surrender. So yes, this should be implemented
