Ability to skip Information boxes

It would be nice if pressing a key (such as N) would skip the current Information box. Sometimes these queue up one after the other and can go for quite a bit and sometimes you just want to give them a read and get them out of the screen.

On a similar but less important note, it would also be nice to not be shown the Rule change box every time you log in

I usually keep pressing esc button, so this would help it's not bad +1

Yeah, I do actually have /popup which is a staff command to close the current popup box. I don't know about adding it for players, for two reasons:
a) People will skip it all the time out of habit and miss important information
b) People will skip it accidentally, missing important information
c) There are no free keys that aren't already used for something else. As popups can appear anywhere and at any time, there's no situation where there is a free key.
Note that key detection works based on actions not keys, e.g. FIRE, SPRINT, JUMP rather than LMB, SPACE, SHIFT. This is dependant on the player's GTA keybind configuration.

So yeah, I could make /popup available I guess (maybe /p or /pu for short?) but I don't think a key is suitable nor will work.

This was just part of the 'Message of the Day' (MOTD). I have disabled it now.

All of those are fair concerns. I think having it as /p would be nice.

People skipping things without reading is a fair concern, but not making the existence of /p obvious outside of /cmds should help at least ensure new players read through the important initial stuff
