You don't have to leave your current crew to join SASP, and we don't require a crew tag.
You can be part of this team when you are a cop, and part of your regular crew when you're playing as a civilian/criminal.
We'll use Discord voice chat to communicate with each other in real-time, and it's a requirement to use it when playing as a cop with us.
Ranks
Cadet (recruit)
You will get this rank when you join SASP, and it basically means you require training.
Trooper (unranked)
This is the role you get after you complete your training.
Sergeant
You have done a good job for a while and you have been promoted.
Lieutenant
The real pros will quickly reach this prestigious rank.
You need to have good skills in all fields (DMing, driving, flying, communicating, ...).
Captain
1 captain per division, preferably the best cop at that job.
The captain of a division is responsible for the training of its cadets.
Chief
1 spot, reserved for the overall best cop.
Commissioner
Me 🙂 just because I had this idea.
Divisions
You can apply to join one or more divisions once you've become a Trooper, and play any of them whenever you want.
Some divisions require no additional training, or tests, while others do.
Highway Patrol
Regular cops that drive high-speed cars around, solo or in a team of 2, and chase suspects around the state.
They stop all kinds of criminals, including yellows so that they pay their ticket, necessary to fund the SASP.
SWAT
Squads of 4 that use the same vehicle, such as the PD car, Sultan, Enforcer, or any other 4-door, and are good at ground DM.
They respond to crimes that usually require little to no chase and more fighting.
Air Division
Gives air support to whoever needs it, usually with Rustlers, Seasparrows, and Mavericks. Requires you to be a good pilot.
Remember that if you're flying a Rustler, you can only open fire on Most Wanted suspects, otherwise, you should resort
to ramming them, which requires great skills.
Dispatchers
Communicates with police officers and coordinates them. They're responsible for /loc-ating suspects, guiding cops, and generally
paying attention to what's going on and warning cops about situations, for example reading the death feed and warning cops about
a possible gang fight in progress.
Paramedics (EMTs)
Has the firefighter job and rescues and heals cops who need it. Flies a Maverick to transport injured cops to safety.
They should also have tons of extra ammo and flares to refill cops and call supply drops for them.
Bribes
We generally don't take bribes, however, if all the officers involved in a certain scenario are OK with it, then you may accept the bribe,
and you must share it with all of them. It's not acceptable to take bribes when other cops are with you without asking them first, or
without sharing the bribe with them, and you may get removed from the Department or demoted. An exception is jail bribes, you can accept any jail bribe.
Shooting fleeing vehicles
To date, it's still unclear whether shooting at suspects' vehicles or at their tires when those suspects aren't a threat is allowed.
Some admins will say yes, some will say no, some don't even know. I'd say, unless we know for sure the suspect is a threat,
we should attempt to disable the vehicle without shooting at it, but if the vehicle is really fast (Bullet, Cheetah, Infernus, ...),
or it's an air vehicle or a boat, then we're gonna shoot at their tires to slow them down, or shoot at the car body if they're still
fleeing. Shooting at the suspect's head is not acceptable unless the suspect is certainly a threat.
Requirements
- Cop Rank 6+
- Score 6,000+
- Know and follow all the cop rules
- Speak English and have a microphone (required for Discord voice calls)
