Crazy Bob's closed just a couple of days after his post, so he wasn't lying. But that is why so many people were playing for that specific week. It hit 150 at one point whilst Mike's was on less than 30. Immediately prior to that 30 people on Crazy Bob's during daytime was a good result!

I assumed that after CB went offline there'd be a small flood of new players to this server, but over the past few days it never seems to go much above 20-something. Which is a surprise.

Cb  becamed rdmer server...nobody's played cops and robbers mode on last years, only murder and infect other players, literrally was a war...that's why died.

As a regular player there for a number of years, I disagree. Plenty of people were still playing as Cops and Robbers. I'd say at least 2/3rds of the players, the majority.

The server died because a huge amount of Admins disappeared to other servers (NG, FiveM etc), so there was a period earlier in the year where unregistered idiots using aimbot cheats were regularly screwing things up for everyone with no Admin around to fix the problem. Unregistereds would come on with aimbot hacks with the goal of getting everyone to quit. A lot of regular players left during that period. And then you had a few idiot regular players realised they could get away with using hacks and cheating too because no Admins....so that put even more people off playing.

By the time Admins started to reappear the damage had already been done and much of what was left of the player base had also switched to other servers.

So really it was the exodus of Admins which ultimately led to the server going downhill this year. But right up until the end it was still mainly a Cops and Robbers game. Well, until the closure got announced a couple of weeks back and most people gave up on the usual gameplay and just went a bit crazy instead.....and then it did mainly become a RDM'ing mess of a game.
