Most of this topic is just stupid and quite literally the embodiment of "grasping at straws", honestly, what are you trying to get at?
I've broken down the whole analogy behind why gambling has restrictions and why other things don't
here.

As for weapon purchasing, and sex shops etc; I guess Mike could add a disclaimer that mentions these areas are restricted to 18+ only. However once again, please enlighten us on how exactly we are meant to police the age of players on the server.
Forcing us to resort to something of this nature is something you certainly do not want, seeing as you are against the gambling restriction as well it really goes without saying that you are indeed, against censorship. I speak for everyone when I say that getting popups to confirm every action we commit to is just straight up annoying and totally unnecessary especially when the game itself is marked as +18 however it's widely known that children also play this game and as such, whether we like it or not part of the "parenting" responsibility falls upon us. You said it yourself, playing video poker online could get everyone addicted even children - however I strongly disagree with the rest of your points as they are COMPLETELY irrelevant. You cannot get "addicted" to shooting in real life because it bears severe consequences and quite honestly who the fuck even gets "addicted" to shooting? It's the killing they are after if anything and that's just psychopaths who are 1 in 1000000 people which makes it pointless for us to put any sanctions in place.
This game is literally about violence, vehicle theft, robberies etc... it makes no
sense to put restrictions in the fundamentals.
I can't help but think, If you don't like restrictions then why are you suggesting even more areas of the game to receive blockages?
As for the rest of your points you need to keep in mind that informing all players globally in case of a change in rules is impossible, which is why discord is our one and only tool where news are concerned. If you are unable to keep yourself up to date via discord then using /helpme in case of a question wouldn't go astray.
The new DM rule (which isn't even passed yet) will cut down on the unnecessary complaints and will make a lot of people happy. You may not like it but this is how things are going to be for a while, or at least until some massive changes are made.
