But they do use weapons right? And then they need to buy ammo which costs more than they even get (Assuming a player buys 1k ammo for each weapon and it lasts till his payday). Either increase their paycheck to 12k or just give them more money on interacting with suspects (killing/arresting).

bro i never mentioned where we buy ammo from. If you buy 1k ammo for each gun even in PD locker, it costs more than you get in paycheck. (or atleast more than 50% of paycheck)
I have no problem making money as a cop. Slowly but surely.

I have spent more than $ 1,500,000(I won the lottery and something else being a donator, not because of my job) being a cop in a short time, buying weapons but especially with bulletproof tires and double armor, its the best way to shatter the criminal proplayers, Cops are paid peanuts. 5 stars.

Police Officers seem like they have all it takes to take down a criminal, but in reality it can be hard.
For the time i was playing, i had only lost money as a police officer and barely gained anything, unless you are a corrupted cop that just bribes and doesen´t arrest anyone.
There should be bigger rewards for arresting/detaining suspects or even killing Most Wanted. I get around 4.000 dollars as paycheck but i use a ton of money just to catch the suspects unless im going for players that have a level below 100.
