When we as a Medic (maybe other Jobs too am sure) try to switch to a Mechanic (this could also be other jobs) but in between choosing skins we press the option 'Cancel' it will spawn us back as a civilian while it should spawn us back as A Medic because we were a Medic before.

its literally states that
"it will end your duty as paramedic" and you clicked on confirm why would it turn u back to medic and if u take a look at chat
it literally says
No longer on duty as Paramedic .
Now on duty as a Mechanic so when u clicked on cancel that's the reason you switched to civ
Uh Sorry, I did notice that but
It said that 'Would you like to become a Mechanic' 'This will end your duty as Paramedic'
So I thought when I'll completely switch to a Mechanic then my Duty should end but in between I pressed Cancel which lead me to think this is somethin wrong.
Anyways you have a good point too and maybe its not a glitch it is how it was meant to be done!
But I'll still like if a staff member replies here so I can know, there's nothing bad in askin i guess

Can you confirm if it is a intentional thing ? Cuz I guess it should spawn us back as a Paramedic as we in between pressed 'CANCEL' option. What else Cancel option should do?
If u check the chat it says 'Now off duty as a Paramedic', so it was supposed to do so.
It also gives you PAYCHECK message which clearly means as soon as u apply for mechanic, you go off as a medic.
Not a bug, this is how it is supposed to work.
You get asked if you wish to end your duty as a paramedic first, once you click 'confirm' You become a civilian (with your off duty skin ID), then after you choose a skin, your job changes according to the skin you chose.
