Is Mike's Cops and Robbers an RP server?

This leaves many players in doubt, other players say that Mike cops and robbers is not an RP Server, Others say that it is an RP server, playing Mike's Cops and Robbers has a good attention to detail,

House system, Arrest system , Bank robbery, Shoplifting, You can buy cars and leave them in one of the garages in the city of San Andreas, you can even call them in case you need one. You can load gasoline into your car and modify it. You can be a medic you can heal, cure disease and revive. You can be a firefighter, put out the fire and save lives like medic job, you can be mechanic you can repair cars, you can do the prostitute job and there are sex animations.

There are reload animations like the sniper rifle and the county rifle, even a tazer, which in GTA San Andreas there was no. You can do almost anything you want!

But there are rules that prevent doing some things on the server.

As the police cannot camp the bank, they cannot guard the evidence locker at the police stations, the players cannot kill each other for no obvious reason, the police officers cannot kill To suspect unless they are a weapon threat, there is no friendly fire and you cannot kill innocents like police or taz them. Medics cannot team with criminals or cops or do the cop job (killing suspects and this includes the firefighter job as well).

In short things that we do not have to do in real life. What do you think? Is Mike's Cops and Robbers a RP server?

It’s a cops and robbers server. While I appreciate your contribution to the forums, it’s called Mike’s Cops and Robbers… not Mike’s RP.

MCNR is a CnR server with RPG elements.

I've never played GTA online before, so I tried SA-MP. There are many servers but it is always a mess where you have nothing to do: shoot, run or die. And role plays are too boring, you're feel ing yourself like a slave doing your first job.
MCNR is much better. You can gain money even if you just walk around. So new players are not going to starve themself to death. Honest jobs bring honest money. You can rob anything  banks, shops, atms, other players, other players' houses.

with all respect, but I couldnt understand why we need this rules?
what is bad in it if a fireman gives a hand to a cop by washing down some criminal on the ground?)
I am not a fun of death matches, but killing innocent is just a crime, another star or two.
If cops are spending their duties at the bank, I can leave them  there and do other criminal activities)

The job of medics and firefighters are to save lives irrespective of the player being a criminal or a cop. Also if this were to be implemented, I'd assure a lot of players would abuse a lot.

Criminals should have a chance of actually robbing the bank rather than cops just sitting there giving no chance to the robbers. If there is an ongoing bank robbery, cops have ample of time to respond and stage up to arrest/take down suspects and stop the bank robbery.

I believe you have a reason.
May be it is possible to create another bank to split attention.

Kinda little bit of both Cops and Robbers and RP. It adds well too so no issues about that...

the definition of role-play in the merriam dictionary defines it as "to act out the role of". in the server you can choose to play as characters with different roles so you could argue it is a roleplaying server, but that definition could describe call of duty as roleplay because you play the role of a soldier.

it depends how do you define the word roleplay.
