So to sum it up:
- Keep in mind plane damage when coding repairs for vehicles (if nothing else)
- Consider some way of repairing "handling damage" on the go ? Or just more locations
If you go to the airport there is a checkpoint you sit on that refills your petrol and fixes your vehicle, no need for "on the go repair kits" although it may be useful at times, but I'm pretty sure mike is adding something similar, soon on the upcoming updates, but I could be wrong about this.
There should be 3 checkpoints as far as I know. 1. on each airport, if you're in the active city, then 1 should be enough, when the crime that is happening is within the active city. If he does go to a non-active city then you can proceed to the other checkpoints in the airport.
going above and beyond to increase it's armor it's just a oversight that puts you in a advanage, if you have 1800 health when the vehicle is suppose to have only 999 health, then I'm sure you can be "bothered" to fly to the airport and repair it, like how you go into a little checkpoint at a petrol station to increase it's armor.
-1 on the suggestion.
Also don't flood your thread. Keep it clean and keep it under 1 post. consider this a friendly warning for next time, just so you're clear next time.

I dont think you understood properly what I was trying to say. That is also why I tried to sum it up. The problem is that airport checkpoint does not repair damage over 1000hp and vehicle armor doesnt repair handling damage as well. That's all.
Also you have vehicle repair kit to repair your car, I just want to be able to repair handling damage, not hp of planes! But that's fine, I don't really need that, what I thought was important is coding all repairs(and vehicle armors) so it actually repairs handling damage as well.
Its an oversight not a feature.
2000hp on flying vehicles Will be removed in the next update so dont expect something Like that to also be added in the next update.
To still have 2000hp i recommend going to a garage and using the repair bodywork option to fully repair your wings otherwise you will eitheR:
1. have to fly with a broken wing/part of a broken wing
2. lower your aircraft to under 950 health and repair it on an airport.
Nobody can escape their sins, everyone gets punished whether it takes a day or an eternity.
You can change who you are, but you cannot run from yourself.

Original vehicles have 999Hp you increasing the armor to 2000Hp is a oversight. Meaning it's not suppose to be 2k health. so when you try to repair it, it will only heal up to 999Hp.
That's besides the point. Do you think its more sensible for me to look for interior to fix the damage so i can take off from narrow streets like this:

https://www.twitch.tv/videos/974136593?t=0h41m3sRegardless of the vehicle health. If you think an alternative wouldn't be better, then I guess we can agree to disagree.
Also sorry, I'm terrible at explaining things :-\
There are checkpoints at all airports that repair your vehicle, or you can use a repair kit (/vr).
/vr doesnt seem to be working with planes and I think helicopters either. I tried from many angles as well as top of the rustler and dodo... Unless there's some kind of trick I dont know about.
If that worked it would be more than awesome.

What do you mean /vr 'doesn't seem to be working'?
I mean you cant find an engine on planes.

you don't repair it from outside, you do it from inside, it instantly repairs by itself
That's great to know, I was asking many times in game, and had mechanic try to repair my planes to no avail. Ill try that howl, thanks!
