Also, I was just lazy, I used to open chat and press up arrow then edit.

No, I was getting beep sounds when you @mention me, and, it was all happening in a global chat - not only you disrupted my gameplay, but also did it infront of everyone which is completely intolerable.

Or, maybe I shouldn't be punishing people for their annoyance?
