...right, all you've contributed is dozens upon dozens of whining posts thinly veiled as "creatively cynical copypastas" on the forum & shit-slinging in Discord. Instead of just calling it quits due to your own personal disappointment or any other negative feelings towards Mike or the server, you choose to undermine whatever motivation he and his remaining team—myself included—have. It's become a self-fulfilling prophecy long ago.

A gamemode the size and scope of MCNR requires a team of dedicated devs and staff to maintain. Mike has been doing this for 6 years already—mostly on his own, with some input from fellow devs and some of us in the testing team of course. Burnout is real, especially for things that don't even bring you profit. (You can go ahead and speculate about donations, but let's get real: those are not a stable source of income and will likely not even cover all the expenses hosting a server this large entails.) What exactly are you trying to achieve by actively exacerbating it?

Hell, if you think your clique can do better with opening/maintaining a CnR server in 2025, go ahead and make your own. That'd at least be something productive. Go ahead and compete. This is a challenge.

I could respect s1mple's input when he was part of the team. Hell, he was one of the first higher-ups, if not the first, to originally reach out to me to join the team back in '23. To this day, I want to be able to keep this level of respect. However, the gibberish he puts out now on the daily basis s1mply can not be respected.

I don't know what the fuck happened to you guys, but no matter your former deeds or status, you're being a disgrace to this community.

second how is the community to blame for samp hosted/online tab shutting down and generally samp playerbase going on a decline not to mention the lack of updates and poor communication does not help at ALL
if youre gonna point your finger and blame someone for the playerbase decline you chose a wrong target, these guys you call "disgrace" arent going around in peoples dms telling them not to play mcnr or else they will bomb them

People not wanting to be testers/contribute code

Few reasons

Toxic staff driving away ppl from joining staff team even as a helper/tester

Not everyone aspires to be a tester in general

It's 2025, people won't learn PAWN to save a server/contribute to which is on It's last breath, especially with such lackluster Player - Owner/Dev communication

Also other causes responsible ofr the state of the game.

Mike strictly sticking to the RP elements despite majority of people not wanting them (I'm not saying they're useless but you can clearly see who plays MCNR for the most part nowadays, people who fight eachother/cops) Long promised updates like Crew system had people in hopes but It all went somewhere else, another reason why ppl laugh at mike for adding campfire and stuff. He's simply out of touch and NOT communicating with the playerbase, x4x said the update is gonna be worth waiting but we have 1-10 players active and unknown state of It.

Ignoring suggestions which ppl want because he does not like them, I understand It's his game but he should take some stuff into consideration instead of being like NAAAAH DENY, recent approved suggestions are a filler which 99% of ppl won't do.

It's primarly a communication problem people have no reason to play the game If they think they're just gonna get another patch fixing 1 or 2 things after 3 months of waiting, lackluster recycled events. If mike can't actually dedicate time to the server and is questioning It's existance then he should tell us instead of acting like nothing happens, well nothing happens because he does NOTHING to fix that state. 1 mass unban? Fuck it same people evaded bans or will get rebanned 1 week later.

As ironic our "Me and several other players" quotes are they have actually big meaning. People don't take this server and It's state seriously cause they're aware that any effort to communicate/suggest something worthy will be met with denial or ignoring.

This is a gaming community, not the waiting game community.

This is all fake mcnr has very interesting events like Halloween and Christmas events. This year's event was very fun and interesting to play. I can't wait for Christmas just so I can find Halloween pumpkins whose graphic model is changed to gift box in the same spot as every year. Server had 4 players this morning which is a big milestone.

I stand with Ally_lilly I am sure there will be an interesting update by the fall of 2067 as staff promised

Yeah, good point. Kalcor fucked us all over. My hope is open.mp server software eventually does come out, and we can all move beyond the artificially created 0.3.7/DL fork. This will not just mend the playerbase problem somewhat but be great for server-side creativity, too. We'll be able to make good custom interiors, vehicles, etc. that will finally be synced. But until then... do we need to be at each other's throats like this?

You don't need to exaggerate. I think I've explained extensively enough how this type of posting will do nothing but decrease the playerbase morale. It's not good, it's not kind, and it's not helping by any stretch. Why do it then? Just as an emotional outlet? You can talk to ChatGPT about it or something, instead of having it waste electricity on generating shitty jabs. Of course, this isn't as bad as playtime-shaming (which is also being done quite a lot), but the overall morale decay is already palpable due to the reasons you already know all too well. Don't think we can't see that's it's gotten bad. I just don't think it's a good idea to be making it even worse by actively pounding defeatism into the playerbase's heads on the forum and on Discord.

It's not good, it's not kind, and it's not helping by any stretch. Why do it then? Just as an emotional outlet? Brother we've been trying to assist the servers longevity for over 3 to 4 years now and it didn't work out, unique and good suggestions getting denied left and right, ofcourse people are gonna get frustrated and let it out? Not to mention Mike sometimes attacks the person who opened up the suggestion with comments like "are you ok" "ur mom" "wtf is this suggestion", does one really need to hear that shit from the owner himself? That reason alone is why some have quit, why tf do you wanna get treated poorly

I'd argue simples topic isn't even him bashing the server, he's another person that is genuinely frustrated to look at the state of the server right now and I don't doubt that if there's opportunity he'd try to help out. Mcnr was the last hope for samp people believed in it and it has gone to shit
