If you go at an GAS station marker to change your license plate, the whole car will be reseted.

SA-MP requires vehicles to be respawned to change their licence plate. The script should retain the vehicle position, rotation, colors and health. The only thing I can think of that it does not retain (which I will fix) is visual damage and popped tires. Is this what you meant, or something else?
Was it a personal vehicle?

I tried this. when you send your car back and request it again all the mods will be back.
This will be fixed in the next update.
