Well yeah, but tehnically you can also get wanted stars while playing as mechanic, so I am not sure if removing it would be a good thing.
Maybe it should only appear once you actually have wanted stars.

or make mechanics as a public service like the fire dept and paramedics xD

Holding N will now toggle lights after 250ms and surrender after 1000ms.
