Grand Theft Auto on Personal Vehicle

Date/Time: 8:10 PM (Ukraine Kiev time)

I was driving around, and suddenly a cop suspected me driving a stolen vehicle which was mine.

I can't tell if it's a bug or not, but it looks stupid.

Can you please answer the following questions to make it easier to test the issue:
Has it only happened to you on this vehicle?
Has it happened to you more than once?

Someone might have stolen it before. Once your vehicle is stolen, it is marked as a stolen vehicle for the cops.

nah, i was AFK with it the whole time.

I think I fixed this bug twice in the past and it keeps coming back to haunt me.

I think the issue is if your vehicle is stolen by someone else then you steal it back. Of course stealing back your own vehicle shouldn’t be a crime. I’ll have to check it out.

Well this cant be because of somone has tried to steal your vehicle and you stole it back, because Mike fixed this and I tested it alot didnt find any issues, perhaps the bug you encountered might be associated with you being AFK?

I will try testing going AFK and let somone try to hijack me then go to a cop and see what happens.

Hey howl, I confirmed the bug and the reason is when someone hijacks your vehicle while you are AFK the vehicle will count as stolen after that.
