Let's say a guy came with a helicopter to kill me. I shot him 2 times with sniper and took out his armour while he was flying. He landed his heli near me and blasted it in a single shot and both of us died.
It's blast is over powered, just like an RPG. In fact all air vehicles blast like that. But for others you get a chance to escape. This new feature just made it impossible to escape.
If Mike can disable shooting the heli rotors when the heli is unoccupied, this issue may get better.
Personally I love the rotor explosion of unoccupied heli's, I use it to destroy my own helis so they respawn and someone else or I can take it later.
Also, I don't even remember being involved in rotor explosion death like you're describing.
There are ways to play around it from both sides, if you're the one piloting a helicopter you can jiggle it around so its very hard to hit, if you wanna destroy it, just keep distance.
