Police scanner (interceptor)

It's a great idea Karbz but remember cops also use groups so I'd like to believe that it'll be pointless having this feature when everyone could just /g and chat there instead.

I certainly think it's an interesting idea, especially being able to see cop blips from further away. Do cops even use the cop radio tbh?

It would definitely need to be a time-limited and expensive device.

Cops mostly use whisper, shout or group chat which makes buying such a device a waste of money.
I'd say maybe you could add some spice to it like being able to chat on the radio as well, no innocent can buy nor use the device or if you buy it you instantly get wanted level or maybe no wanted level unless used.. etc
Also if the player got arrested with that device especially if it's bought from the black market, they should not be able to get it back unless they break the evidence locker.

As a former "24/7" cop, I can tell you that we use cop radio almost all the time. We use it for:

• Searching for a team


• Recruiting


• Requesting backup


• Asking other cops to rush in a specific place


• Asking other cops to track a specific criminal


• Sharing plans and tactics

Cop radio is a convenient instrument for communication, but after we realize criminals see everything we type there, we will simply stop using it and go for whispers, group chats and private messages. What's next? Make criminals read our private and group messages?

Just like you say, a 24/7 cop dont have any idea about being a civ so you dont know anything about civ, theres a chance that civ can see/ read cops private group. (Idk if its a bug or "we civs" are just close to the dying cop, close to a police veh or in it, in police dept).

Man even if i can see ur little whispers.. that aint gonna help me survive the amount of waves of cops that will keep on coming to kill my ass.. and dont mind this takanome guy Hes not ok in the head

or just alert us when a cop is within 200-1000

or we can buy a device that can make us(criminals) invisible for like 2 to 3 minutes?
