you known what, i think Mike can add some vehicles mods for customization like custom texts on vehicles or custom paintjob for vehicles and a lot more.
+1

agreed. seen this on RP servers years ago, people have come up with some really cool ideas with text draws on cars, and with objects attached to them too. (would need to be noclip objects only tho)

you just gave mike green light to say 'too much rp' xD
anyway +1
I'm broke with no PV but +1, sounds like a good idea and something down the line that'd be cool to have.
I didn't even know you could remove the default bumpers. I don't know how to do this. You have to give it a 'component ID' to remove, and the only component IDs I see documented are the modshop ones, not the originals.

Adding objects/texts might be supported in a future update - it's something ChrisAg is looking at.

Component IDs are only for modshop components. What you should be looking for is the panels section of the damage status.
You can set the front and back bumper states there.

EDIT: Additionally, you can also use this to replace said bumpers and other car parts with other tuning parts.

I added this mostly out of curiosity. It wasn't as straightforward to implement as I thought initially (having it save with PVs etc. resulted in me creating an entire system to set 'flags' on vehicles that save with PVs). Will be in the next update.
