I tried to imagine this happening as well and thought for some theory that might help you while coding this.
So far I know that players can link their discord account to the game.. So, if possible you could make it so that when I mention a user on the server echo channel it goes through the bot then the game and sends the text as @User and if that @User exists Ingame mention the user Ingame as well.

as Mody said it's the easiest way to implant it and it's useful too

If you mention a user on Discord and they have an in-game account linked, they already get notified of this in-game, so this isn't really needed..
