The Reset was ruined because of the casino games.
What Mike should do:
- remove/nerf the casino games
- anyone who has 1 mil in his pocket, simply reset their accounts to 1 mil
- add more props then you will see players' motivation to play again and chase after things
- add wealth taxes
The game is so boring after you get all props you want and have 5 mil in bank (to avoid current taxes). You lack the motivation to chase after anything...

i'm honnestly supporting all this except 1mil part,srsly like when u have alot of cash whats the point of going to bank etc will u have
simply add more taxs,if you have above 5-10mil add more taxs on weapon purchase and car fix etc

The next reset should only occur if a ground breaking update occurs, where a complete server reset will be mandatory or in the off chance we make the transistion to OpenMP, or something crazy that would work better with a reset.
What we REALLY need is a reverse staff reset. Meaning that all the people that are not staff, become moderator and all the staff, gets demoted to regular players. that will truly increase the player count. +1 for what I wrote.

Real solution is to make people spend more cash.
Remove personal vehicles (Go to a car dealership if you want a bullet on demand), Make both civilian and cop death more expensive, encourage people to spend money. Add actual rewarding missions (aint nobody doing mailer for 10 xp and 10k cash) and other stuff. Also more fishing stuff, aviation missions and etc.

Guys I got a better suggestion why don't we stop complaining about player count and just sell our precious pc and then touch some grass, it will be better than any reset and stop complaining every single shit to Mike and let's find some better job to do irl rather than crying over a 2004 game that there aren't enough players for u to rdm. Get some help and let's leave it to the owner himself he knows well about how to run this server compared to jobless and nolifer u, again get some help and touch some grass dumbass and don't forget to rate my suggestion too thanks 🙏.

There's plenty of things that (regular) players do not agree upon. However, I'd say the motivation to play is the biggest reason why the server has a low players count at the moment.
A reset at this right moment would just increase the players count for a few days then it will drop down... No point in doing that.
I know what you are saying but compared to 1 year ago, the staff has improved but it's still not ideal...
Removing personal vehicles, one of the best features, will simply annoy the hell out of players. Sorry but no, -1. If you want players to spend their money, add more houses, maybe bussineses, add wealth taxes, etc... Like mentioned, once you have 5 mil in bank, to avoid the current taxes, and own a few nice properties, there's nothing to do with your money and the boredom comes...
