2022 Christmas Event Begins
It’s that time of year again – the MCNR Christmas Event is here!
This event will run from the 5th of December until the 1th of January.
Candy Canes
Could you end up in the top 100 on the candy leaderboard?
Throughout the event, you will earn Candy Canes. These can be earned from any of the Christmas activities listed below.
The players with the most Candy Canes (top 100 leaderboard) when the event ends in early January will earn cash prizes and special clothing items that cannot be obtained in any other way.

Christmas Tree
What has Santa left under the tree for you this year?
Visit the Christmas tree (no more than once in a 24 hour period) for a random gift! Gifts include health & armour, weapons & ammo, cash, seasonal clothing, candy canes, free vehicle credits and more!
The Christmas tree can be found in these locations while the city is active:
– Los Santos: Pershing Square (outside Los Santos Police Department)
– San Fierro: City Hall (outside the bank)
– Las Venturas: Roca Escalante (outside Las Venturas Police Department)

Gift Hunt
Can you find all the gifts?
Gift hunting is back! 150 gifts have been scattered around each of the cities (inner cities only) for a total of 450 gifts to find. You’ll earn bigger prizes as you find more gifts.
You earn prizes at 10, 25, 50, 100, 200, and 450 gifts.
There is an additional seasonal clothing item for finding all 450 gifts: a Christmas tree hat! There is no other way to obtain this clothing item, so it’s going to be rare!
All players will see randomly placed gifts; you will not necessarily find gifts in the same places as other players.
NEW THIS YEAR: You can now shoot gifts to collect them!
Carol Singing
Can you hit the high notes?
Go door-to-door and spread the festive cheer by carol singing. You’ll earn lots of Candy Canes! Simply visit any owned property and either knock on the door or ring the bell.
NOTE: You cannot revisit a house within 24 hours, and you may only visit so many houses in a 24 hour period.
Seasonal Clothing
NOTE: Not all seasonal clothing items shown.
As in previous years’ events, you can obtain special clothing items via the Christmas tree, gift hunt, but we’ve added some additional ones this year!
You’ll get the gifts for finding gifts, the Xmas tree once all gifts found, the baubles etc. from the tree and randomly if you already have the gifts from the gift hunt, and some more for being in the top 3, 10, or 100 on the candy leaderboard after the event.

Christmas Eve Bonus
Play on Christmas Eve (24th December UTC) for a bonus $150,000 and 500 score!
