I really like Mazen's post. Well said. I don't know that I would warn an 'older player', they should know the rules if they have been here for a while. No need to be lenient to them.

We should still be lenient towards experienced players as well especially when they break a rule that has been recently added like cop hunting. Reason being that not all experienced players are on Discord or visit the forum to be up-to-date with the rules. If they haven't been previously infracted, or have reports for breaking the rule in the past, then I agree with Mazen that we should first warn along with clarifying the rule that they broke.

Good point, I agree with this point. Scratch my last note.
30 hours is nothing maybe more, 50 hours for example maybe will make staff play more than before
1. Disable the rules "You are able to revenge on cops who arrested you".
The reason of this is because basically this one confused player with the new "cophunt" rules and I do think that this is not necessary.

2. Do not expose staff's identity on main chat such for example :- "Flyburger (36) spec me".
I know we are on the staff list but new players or cheaters aren't aware of that. Often players doesn't pay attention on forum so they don't know who's admin and who's not.

3. Impersonating as staff is not allowed.
I've seen some peeps in MCNR trying to fake their identity to other normal players like "I'm admin" and some stuff like that, some of them even misguided peoples so I believe this should be a strict rule.

Will think for more.

-> That's really much, almost 2 hours a day...

-> Yes.

For my part, concerning events:

- I remember that when we were under M3E6's management, he said that we could only teleport innocent players to avoid abuse and disturbance of gameplay (ex: a criminal asks for a teleport while he is chased by a cop). I'd like this rule to be written and enforced again.

- The highest ranking staff should announce the start of an event. Too many messy organizations occured because I feel staff are sometimes too excited about events and announce the start while the teleports are not finished or else and this is really a disturbance.

Thanks.
Pacha

Well it's hard for us to track if everyone's getting chased by cops because we gotta /spec one by one. I do believe punishing peoples that are asking for teleporting while in a chase is enough, because the offense isn't really a big issue overall and it happened rarely.

I think we should pinpoint one guy who organize the event and other staff members should be considered as "assistant" , Managers+ will be "supervisor". There's no need to bother everything on highest ranking staff member, the one who start organizing should be the one who's starting and ending the event.

please do not suggest bullshit, tbh we all have different lives, I barely have time to eat, and I struggle to hit the minimum hours, so we don't need more.
the point of a buff the hours is 30 hours 1 hour a day is very low take in consideration we have different GMT only me and achi and Gigi have the same GMT but the rest is way behind or over so at least we can manage the server have staff online 24/7 like shifts so we don't stay alone there waiting for someone to take our place sometimes I go for afk more than 1 hour either relaxing or IRL stuff need to be taking care of
For staff:-

1) Do not interference in Player Complaints when there's already someone who's handling the case. If you wish to have something add-up (You're a witness or etc), you're free to comment. You are not allowed to close the case without the consent of the admin that's handling the case.

2) Do not interference in Ban Appeal which doesn't involve you, let the responsible admin handle the case. If you wish to have something add-up (You're a witness or etc), you're free to comment. You are not allowed to deny the appeal without the consent of the admin that's handling the case.

3) If you're gonna deny someone's appeal (not old than 1month) , please provide proof instead of just "we had proof of you, denied". Let them and us review the evidence so it will be fair to the player. Appealling ban after a month should be denied instantly, because they know we wouldn't have any evidence left.

4) Every ban should have evidence of it in backup or maybe uploaded on Google Drive like Mike mentioned. So then we wouldn't be bother to wait for evidence from the admin or lost the evidence because it's too old/pc broken/hard drive formatted/deleted by accidentally.

Agreed. 30 is fine lol, 2 hours a day might not seem like a lot but when you work 10-14 hour shifts the last thing you want to do is play a game. We all have lives too, for those that can get to those numbers great.. However, not everyone can. 30 is fine imo.

Just to add to this, your activity increases by moving your character in-game, but not when you are standing still doing your admin/mod duties such as spectating players. Unless the time that you aren't moving your character in-game is also counted towards your activity (or a separate activity time), the 30 hours is fine.
okay forgot about the 50 hours thing
