This could be put somewhere in the bank so you won't be wasting your time on looking if there are any bags left

If we go left and right side from the guard's position, we can easily see if any bags are left or not...

I agree with that, if either you visit down the vault to check on the bags, or just kill people to get your own bag.

with this suggestion, you're most likely killing the concept of stealing people's bags.

Is it too hard to look into the vault and put some 15 seconds of your life looking if there is a bag left?

Stop hating ony my nigga Domingo, he's kinda lazy sometimes. Great suggestion my friend, but I stand by the fact that you should not know it and... well... kill some one that you know is running away to the Hideout or lose time and go down to the vault to check if there's any bags left.

-1 This is not badly suggested, but it loses the essence of putting a bullet inside someone's throat.
