If you have verified your Discord account and linked it with your in-game account, you can reset your in-game account password via Discord. Simply message the MCNR bot with the command /password.

If you did not previously verify your Discord account, the only way we can reset your password manually is if you can prove your identity. The only reliable way to do this is by your IP address. Your current IP address (which you are using to post from) must match (one of) the last IP address(es) used to login to your account recently.

Do not to post your IP address. We can see it.

If your IP address had changed we can verify your identity in another way if you are using the same computer. In this situation please message me directly (preferably on Discord) and I’ll look into this.

REMINDER: Password security notice
Your MCNR server account password is there to prevent others playing on your account. You should use a strong (long, complex and no common words or phrases) password that cannot be easily guessed by others. It should still be memorable.

A good idea for a long but memorable password is three or four words joined together like ‘YouHaveTheRightToRemainSilent!’. Passwords such as ‘NIG£&5ibf!@@85HRTjhu’ might be more complex but this isn’t helpful if you keep forgetting your password. As mentioned above it can be difficult to recover your account in a situation where you forget your password so try and remember it or write it down.

Finally, NEVER use the same password on another server, website or account. This doesn’t just apply to MCNR; you should never use the same password on different accounts or platforms as one breach gives access to all other accounts using the same password. Use a different password for every account you register, and not just for SA-MP.

Your email password should be your strongest as email account access can give you access to reset any accounts associated with that email address.

MCNR may have email verification and password resetting one day.
