I think the biggest issue with the *Mechanic* job is the lack of progression. Unlike **Police** and **Medic**, mechanics have very little to work toward, which can make the job feel repetitive after a while.
[details] `Mechanic Rank System ` similar to those jobs would be a great addition. Higher ranks could unlock additional mechanic related abilities and services, giving players a reason to continue playing the job while making progression feel more meaningful.

[details] `skill based repair system` could also work well alongside this. Higher ranked mechanics could have a better chance of successfully using `engine kits` performing repairs, giving ranks an actual purpose beyond just progression.

Mechanics already have towing, but the job lacks long term goals compared to other careers.
Improving `towing payouts` and `consecutive bonuses` would also help make the job feel more rewarding and encourage players to remain on duty longer.
{#55ff55}[nomd]Overall[/nomd]{/}, I think mechanics need both **better progression** and **better rewards** to make the job feel as engaging as other progression based careers.
