Easier HUD - New Player Suggestion

Hi Guys, so I'm new to the server, I have a relatively low playtime but I think it's important to grasp a view from my perspective.

What I've found so far to be particularly troubling is the HUD. I find it's quite difficult to navigate, because of how overwhelming it is.

I think a much simpler HUD, with a sleeker and easier feel to it would help newer players, such as myself. There's always a lot of information to digest, and it should be compiled into a particular area. Not to mention, instead of mouse, I think it would be easier navigating it by pressing keys like numbers or arrows. Lot to ask for me to come here and request it out of the blue, but just a feature that would go a long way imo, it's an vital aspect.
Hi pioneer, the HUD here is not any different than GTA SA single player was, what do you find difficult? Do you have any suggestions on what to make better? I play GTA 5 quite often and I actually prefer this HUD, but I'd love to hear ideas!
I believe what pioneer is trying to say here is regarding the dialog menu, mainly the Y interaction menu, yes?

If you are talking about the HUD elements such as the bank balance, radar location, vehicle model/speed/health, fuel bar, level/rank, week day and so on, these are all necessary and I think I've done the best I can do keep the screen clean. You can toggle them all individually off if you really want to, as well. Many servers don't give you that option. See /settings > Display.

I look at a lot of servers and see shit like this:

Or this:

I would be embarassed if my hud was as ugly and intrusive as those examples, with useless text strewn across the player's screen.

I keep the HUD as minimal as I can without sacrifising the information that I want to display. I keep it to the edges and make it as small as it can be to look good and be readable.

If you have any specific suggestions for changes, feel free to let me know, but this suggestion has no substance to it, it's literally just 'change this thing' - in what way? What's wrong with it? Nobody else has complained.

I'd recommend setting your resolution to 1080p if you haven't already and are able to, which will make things look a lot better. Nothing looks good on 800x600!

Also, I'd recommend getting the Widescreen Fix Mod: https://mikescnr.com/forum/index.php/topic,9400.msg44844.html#msg44844

That'll make your HUD smaller, and MCNR has a setting (/wsfix) to accomodate the HUD to the smaller HUD of that widesceen fix:

Make sure you read the topic I linked above.

If you're talking about the dialogs instead, we'll refer to this as the UI (User Interface). In order to speed up development and reduce issues, I am using SA-MP's dialog system. I could make my own menu system etc. and almost did, however it's simply not worth it. I agree it's frustrating not to be able to use a joypad to interact with these dialogs, as I use a joypad myself. Unfortunately I can't/won't be able to fix this without a complete overhaul of the UI which I am not going to do I'm afraid.

Finally, I'd like to thank you for the feedback. I periodically do actually go on the server with a new player account just to see what it's like from that perspective, so feedback from a new player is very valuable indeed.

Yeah, it was this I was referring to. Sorry for the miscommunication, I'll try be a little more specific in the future. The HUD is brilliant.
