Not necessarily. A police detective in the US mainly focuses on investigating and solving crimes while an undercover cop can be a detective, a police officer, or another law enforcement special agent (FBI, DEA, etc.).

Returning to the suggestion, I do not see a real need for a detective job for cops since FBI and CIA are basically that in-game. More information will be needed to hopefully have a clear idea on what the detective job should do, and how it's different from the FBI and CIA class if the job is for cops.

I mean detective job will not cop or cop mate it's kinda different mission to solve some crimes didn't happened by a player
For example Spawn a dead body somewhere with cop cars and stopped and chilling NPC cops or something when we start the mission

Indeed Spawn some objects somewhere when the mission is started

Ever heard of cops event job? If not ,try it.

Try firefighter jobs too, kinda similar
