An answer from Mike & his Developers needed.

Since he started being jerk breaking his own rules about provocations and swearing here I go.

"But when you donate real money and can then gamble it in-game, guess what, you're actually gambling real money.."

"Stop being a moron.
"Stop trying to be smart because it just makes you look stupid."

Yeah bro kids are that stupid to donate 25$ per day for 250k in-game money to waste them in gambling with current limit without being able to convert them into real money. If it was about me, would freely get my grandma's ID and make a registration in a real gambling site, with the thinking of a real profit, instead of gambling them in a server, where 1$ can be made from a single rob of a player. This what you wrote on the last two suggestions was only self swearing. Also a nice decision talking like this to the author of a suggestion threat. Are you thinking to loose more players after your stupid decision about mass unbaning cheaters?

"When you're buying a gun in a video game you're not actually buying a gun."

By your words, that means gambling in a video game, you're not actually gambling in real life (which is like that) but can make you addicted (the most simple and true answer to this thread). What if a guy who shooting in-game get addicted to it in real life? It happens even kids searching each other in real life after a death in-game to fight each other in real life, this ain't addiction? Also lets talk about prostitues in-game. In my roleplay server back into 2020, it had a player who were jerking during a roleplay sex (underaged). Ain't that addiction too? HM probably not.

Why are you doing such a stupid things in a game instead of fixing more important things and bugs into this server..

Also another question, since "MCNR isn't a deathmatch server" and it has a rule against RDM, would you please explain me this :

With every single "update" as you say, you're making the server players breaking more rules because of such updates and most importantly mass unbaning cheaters which players and most importantly your staff has tried to make evidences against only one person for days, cutting videos, uploading them and for what did they were doing admin's job (players) and your staff their duty since it is useless?

Since we started talking about rules. As a new player where I'm supporsed to look about them? In-game where 70% of them are not here. In-forum where 50% of them are not here, or In a discord channel where 50% of them are not here + it has a spam of stupid news, events and shits in it? You better also review these rules because half of them.. they contradict each other. I can't imagine I'm allowed to kill a guy who crashes into my car not on purpose and being PSO-ed for RDM because I started shooting at the players who killed my groupmate 2 seconds after, because I was shooting with cops..

Eitherway ban people who are underaged, cause the game is made only for 18+ players or remove in-game gambling bans and start remaking your server with a fresh new rules, also staff because half of them sucks and cannot catch an aimbot even from their POV.

I have a question regarding this, is the cops and robbers thingy balanced now or again cops are too op?
Regarding the poll I made and put into community-input,  really not sure how long you have been around for but it's how the server previously was and people enjoyed it. We changed the rule and stopped it, to discourage DM however it's done the complete opposite and seems to have made it worse.

As for gambling, we are fully aware that we do infact have minors playing the game. It is unfortunately a bit hard to police who is over 18yo and who isn't without visually witnessing a copy of their passport/birth certificate or licence (if they have one). Staff can and have previously disabled a user's ability to gamble.

We can decide to do this, if we believe they are under the legal age required to gamble in real life, if we obtain multiple reports that all check out and verify to say they are under 18 etc.

If you're gonna say "they will grab their parents ID", if their grandparents/parents are that stupid enough to not question why their son/daughter needs their ID that's to the fault of the guardian not the server owner and staff.

Further to add, the server being based on America (USA), kids over there can literally obtain weapons at a ridiculously young age. They can purchase weapons (albeit not insane) before they are legally able to drink and gamble (*gambling and alcohol, afaik is 21 in the states)

Andualem Cops and Robbers is close to being balanced, however it's not there yet and will take many more months and updates to be refined. As to be expected there is a lot to consider when scripting a server that's got such an opinionated community such as MCNR.

Not sure if riser has noticed, but there are a lot of polls in community-input that have not yet been added,  this is because it's the community input channel where we want to hear the opinion of the players. It doesn't mean, if a suggested change gets hundreds of yes votes over no votes we are going to add it.

Upon people signing up and registering, they automatically agree that they are above 18 years of age as well. It's at the discretion of the parents of their son/daughter to keep track of what their son/daughter is playing online and on the computer.

We aren't their guardians, if their parents cannot control what their kids are doing online it sounds like bad parenting. Mike has a disclaimer when trying to gamble, that you must be 18yo or over to gamble, so he covers his ass there.

As for weapon purchasing, and sex shops etc; I guess Mike could add a disclaimer that mentions these areas are restricted to 18+ only. However once again, please enlighten us on how exactly we are meant to police the age of players on the server.

I personally don't feel like video chatting with all 2000+ members of server to verify their age. However, if required I'm sure we can arrange something to be done to further verify someone's age in-game.
Karbz i dont think that most player on mcnr have access nor can afford to gamble online

I personally don't know what's the big of a deal. I remember I've played GTA for the first time when I was like 11 years old or something. And I went through all of this and It turned out okay?

After all it's just a game. Not your real life. lol
I can confirm that the legal age of gambling around the world is on average 18, this also includes America however most venues there raise the age limit to 21 to go inline with the legal drinking age.

While the age limit of being able to purchase weapons varies around the world, most case scenarios it happens to be 18 but I'm not researching every country around the world. America varies, from there being no minimum age, to 21 and above depending on the weapon wishing to be purchased.

No wonder kids do school shooting there every now and then
Most of this topic is just stupid and quite literally the embodiment of "grasping at straws", honestly, what are you trying to get at?

I've broken down the whole analogy behind why gambling has restrictions and why other things don't here.

Forcing us to resort to something of this nature is something you certainly do not want, seeing as you are against the gambling restriction as well it really goes without saying that you are indeed, against censorship. I speak for everyone when I say that getting popups to confirm every action we commit to is just straight up annoying and totally unnecessary especially when the game itself is marked as +18 however it's widely known that children also play this game and as such, whether we like it or not part of the "parenting" responsibility falls upon us. You said it yourself, playing video poker online could get everyone addicted even children - however I strongly disagree with the rest of your points as they are COMPLETELY irrelevant. You cannot get "addicted" to shooting in real life because it bears severe consequences and quite honestly who the fuck even gets "addicted" to shooting? It's the killing they are after if anything and that's just psychopaths who are 1 in 1000000 people which makes it pointless for us to put any sanctions in place. This game is literally about violence, vehicle theft, robberies etc... it makes no
sense to put restrictions in the fundamentals
.

I can't help but think, If you don't like restrictions then why are you suggesting even more areas of the game to receive blockages?

As for the rest of your points you need to keep in mind that informing all players globally in case of a change in rules is impossible, which is why discord is our one and only tool where news are concerned. If you are unable to keep yourself up to date via discord then using /helpme in case of a question wouldn't go astray.

The new DM rule (which isn't even passed yet) will cut down on the unnecessary complaints and will make a lot of people happy. You may not like it but this is how things are going to be for a while, or at least until some massive changes are made.

Well said
Pretending to see a ID or a driver license or a passport unless you are a real public officer then its fucking illegal.

By the way i think its ridicoulous that players have to argue about every fucking thing in this server, also its true and right that Mike want to protect his ass from possible legal troubles considering we are in 2023 and the world changes fast as fuck in every side, expecially in the legal area.

even if we can whats the problem
here we can buy guns ,we can buy guns even irl the thing is are u that dumb to do same shit u do in game irl ?
this shit is difficult to understand for non european players.
its not the same when you gamble on a singleplayer offline game, which doesnt apply the same rules as mcnr, since, in mcnr, you are playing online, in a server where if you put money (for non pay to win, but you can still do it) you can gamble it, and since it involves gambling, in an online game, it can lead to serious trouble if this is done by minors.
all you middle east and asian players wont understand this since you are the most holy and haram avoiding players who do not gamble or drink nor look for sex before marriage
