Army Vehicle Restictions

I feel there should be a rule on army vehicles with weapons. I was shot down (driving my car) by a hunter earlier with only 4 stars and this was after a bank robbery, only a few meters away from the bank, I didn't even get a chance to get chased... Army vehicles such as the Hunter should only be used on Most Wanted (5+ Star) Players... It's more fair.

Yeah I agreed to this idea immediately, they shouldn't be allowed to kill felon players especially if those players are new they'd quit after and the cop would just go "hahaha he rage quit".

I also agree that the hydra and hunter should be used against level 5+ criminals, or criminals that have committed horrendous crimes like murder of several police officers or civilians. A hunter or hydra against solo criminals, especially those who are just robbing liquor stores, is a bit excessive.

The problem with rocket-equipped vehicles, as detailed here is that it is impossible to detect via the script if a rocket fired from a hunter/hydra blew up a players car and killed them. It just looks like suicide. This creates a problem. People in hunters and hydras could go around blowing up innocent players vehicles killing them without consequences.

The only reason I allowed these vehicles to be used for cops rank 10 was because the army was not ready. However rethinking things I am highly considering completely removing the hydra, hunter and rhino due to the inability to detect their kills.

I think they are overpowered anyway. I think the army/cops should just get rustler and seasparrow with guns.

I've wanted to make a suggestion on this ever since I've notice cops using these overpowered vehicle's, I personally think they should be removed completely, it'll make players rage, shootouts is going to be boring because some cops may prefer using Hydra going around killing wanted players and soon or later the player is going to quit etc. It's just not efficient and along with the pursuit unit having hydras and other stuff the Police faction is too OVERPOWERED.

Its not overpowered.You can easily take down most of the hydras and hunters.For Tank,it isn’t too overpowered because it is very easy to break its engine and destroy it.

Agreed, as a mostly cop player i think hunters/hydras and tanks should be removed from the server. They do more harm than good and they shouldn't be used against ground and sea vehicles.

I like this idea here, although the heat seeking missles is also a bit much.... So let's say you're a crim in a helicopter, your heli gets shot down by a Hydra, you are now on the ground... Is the Hydra still allowed to kill you after coming out of the helicopter?

Yea, they can be easily taken down, but only with heavy weapons (Which aren't available) imo.. You'd die from Hydra rockets before you're able to empty out a M4 Clip into one. Me on foot vs. Hydra? Hydra must be a terrible pilot for them to lose that.

I think it will be more great to disable damage from hydras on innocent and police officers cars and ticketable cars so they dont get harmed at all. thats better than removing them so the cops will have hard time killing most wanted groups. the army vehicles still cant deal any damage to on foot people even if they are most wanted. so i suggest to just disable damage on 1-4 stars and enable it with real power on 5-6 stars. because when i try to shoot a most wanted suspect he takes me down and i cant deal any damage to him with hunters. removing them is a bad idea. and i sent a solution right here

As I’ve said previously vehicle rockets cannot be detected nor controller. That is the core issue here. A player in a hydra can blow up an innocent players vehicle and it cannot be detected. SAMP thinks it’s suicide.

If you check cod mw 3 (i mean no addveristment at all) they disabled damage on team players somehow from rockets. you can contact them for how they did that. in mw 3 if u r in a hydra or hunter u cannot blow your teammates in cars or such

Rockets should only be used against most wanted players. If I used your idea, an orange suspect would be unable to damage a cop and vice versa because they would be on different teams unless the suspect was most wanted. It's not a solution unfortunately.

I think it would be a good idea if we could use the hydra if and if only the criminal uses an airplane too.As in the game we have a radio for cop so we could only only ask for air support for example (#we needs air support at Angel pine) .. it would be really good to use it on cars

I agree on that but increase hunter minigun damage on 5-6 stars.
