Question about weapon stats

There is a popular belief in the server that assures " AK-47 Dealz more Damage than M4 !!1!1! ". I went to one of these guys and said let's bet. In the basic game the weapon stats shows that ak and m4 deals exactly the same damage. You can see it here: https://gta.fandom.com/wiki/Weapon_Stats_in_GTA_San_Andreas
Now this guy lost since we fired the same amount of bullets in the head of each other, and dealt the same amount of damage (we died with the same amount of headshots". But just to be sure i wanted to ask if some developer did edit the weapon stats in that sense. Maybe it's possible that some bug/lag did not register some hit he made on me / me on him. Thanks for the attention given. If you did mod weapon stats i would like which ones and what you have changed, in order to know always what's the best weapon.

The AK has been buffed so it is indeed stronger than the M4 in here. You can try and ask Mike for a sheet about the weapon damage values.

@Mike  Also other weapons has been modded? Where i can find a weapon stats table of your server?
