Unique melee weapon abilities

Had a random thought in mind which I honestly think would be a great addition to the melee weapons ingame, giving them some love and usefulness.

Brass knuckles: should deal more damage, nothing more

Chainsaw: nothing, good as it currently is ingame

Baseball bat/Pool cue/Golf club: apply the drunk effect to enemies for 10 seconds on the last blow

Shovel: apply the tazered/on crack animation to enemies for 5 seconds on the last blow

Nightstick: disarm your enemy for 2-3 seconds on the last blow

Katana: a 5% chance to apply bleeding effect, losing 2hp every 3 seconds which lasts for x seconds

All dildos: 30% to inflict STD

Katana and dildos special abilities should notify you if they proc in chat

I like the suggestion but it should be added that once you strike these weapons you too get cooldown to prevent melee spam on players.

I.E. if someone sneaks and starts spamming those abilities on you, you're pretty much helpless, so striker should be applied same thing the nightstick causes targeted player.

Not possible. It already deals a lot of damage tbh.



I like the ideas, however I do worry that people will hate being on the receiving end of them and they will be seen as being 'abused'..

Good one. I originally thought of the knife to have a chance of making you bleed every few but then I remembered it was disabled in the server. This could be a better replacement.

Getting hit by melee is kind of difficult when you run around with guns so I believe it’ll be balanced, however we can always increase the chances if it becomes troublesome. We’ll wait and see if this gets implemented hopefully.

I agree with all of it except the Katana, mf already has a lot of damage, but other than that +1+1+1

Maybe reduce the probability for katana instant kill to 2-5% ? It would be more funny than being 'overpowered' to knock out people with one katana hit. Because samp melee weapon hit sync is already shit, I think we can try with katana too.
