I wanted to ask the community what they think should happen in a situation where a medic or a firefighter steals a vehicle. Obviously police can 'steal' vehicles as they are police and can 'requisition' them, but surely medics and firefighters should not have this same benefit?

As it currently stands medics and firefighters cannot commit crimes in terms of gaining wanted levels, in any way. Damage against innocent/yellow/team players is disabled just as it is with cops.

We want your opinion on how to handle these situations. Please vote in the poll above regarding what should happen when a medic or firefighter steals a vehicle.

I'd say issue PSO, because firefighter/medic does not require immediate action against something (unlike cops they have the reason to catch a most wanted on spree).

I say take does the lock breaking message and warns that if they continue to break in they will become wanted and off duty... maybe it they keep doing it pso?

Wow, I suppose this is because of today's situation where I stole a vehicle because I needed to go bank to deposit money and then log off from server and five cops chaising me because they are camping in bank anyway.
On the other hand, we are all here to have a fun and now one of options is to get job ban if I as firefighter stole a vehicle, lol.
There is always one or two firefighters ( Sonne, PacMan, me and maybe one more ) online and still I have registered on server two months ago I am firefighter.
I don't see the problem if I stole a vehicle because I really need to go somewhere.
And above all we have option on Y to request in any time any firefighter truck for free so why would we stole any vehicle if we don't hurry anywhere.
Probably some cops from today reported me for this and to be honest that cops are kids who are camping in bank and don't want to chase wanted level players beacuse wanteds always kill them so they probably need to chase innocent yellow firefighters..
I don't care whatever you decide, it's always fun to be firefighter beacuse lately there is cheaters, rule breakers and no admins online in the evening especially.

They should get wanted, they can spawn a firetruck/ambulance at their job menu, no need for stealing cars!

It's not their job to "enforce the law".
Theres no point in giving them "special rights", like someone already wrote: if they need a car, they can spawn one.

Sometimes a cop needs to take immediate action and should be able to take a car without punishment.

I'd either force them offduty or punish them with wanteds.
