The audio plugin has been 'fixed' (unblocked by the host) so we can finally use the boombox system that was introduced in version 1.1!
The audio plugin adds a range of features including..
- A fully dynamic boombox system - place a boombox anywhere and select the station, volume and more!
- Hear cockpit GPWS warning alarms such as 'pull up', 'bank angle', audible stall warnings, cruise altitude tones etc.
- Hear accurate weapon reloading sounds when picking up weapons.
- Hear a countdown sound effect when mission timer reaches 30 seconds.
- Special sound effect for leveling up.
- Vehicle radio gets turned off when you level up so you notice it better.
- Change a /setting to choose your favourite vehicle radio and it will be set every time you enter a vehicle.
- Better PM notification sound.

It's not essential to have it but it adds some nice touches. You won't be able to hear boombox audio or buy/place a boombox without it. You get a $1000 daily bonus in-game if you connect with the audio plugin so there's no reason not to! It installs itself in about 10 seconds and you don't need to do _anything_ it will just connect by itself and work.

NOTE: It only accepts one connection per IP address, so if you share an IP address with another player it's first come, first served.

EDIT: It seems I forgot to add the boombox back onto the general store menu, so nobody can buy it - oops! It’ll be there in the next update. Til then, admins will be organising events to give out free boom boxes so stay tuned.
