Why we record gameplay? Useless requirement to play for fun
« on: February 02, 2024, 12:48:56 pm »
In many of the aimbot bans, admin are asking for proof of video(of the exact time when admin /ban you).

This rule is pretty useless, no one is recording gameplay 24/7.

Admins need to come up with a system in order to ensure that no innocent players are banned.

If we see, in all ban appeals, its the judgement of the admin that decides whether the player was using aimbot or not and no one can trust these admin judgements. Especially after many of the admins were found to be leaking IPs of user or banning other players just for their friend revenge.

Players are not required to provide evidence to prove their innocence. It’s the other way around. Staff must provide evidence to show a player is guilty.

If innocents never got punished unfairly, then there would be no need of ban/infraction appeal section. Mistakes happen, if you're not guilty, just appeal

But how come in many ban appeals, admin are asking for evidence (video proof)? There is one recent ban appeal of a player where admin has asked for video proof of the same exact kill.

Main purpose of this discussion is that how we can shift from admin judgements to a way that has players trust. Nobody trusting these admins especially after we have 100 of cases where admins were wrong/leaked ips/banned other people either for personal ego or for their friends revenge.
