I think it's really hard to start from 0 without knowing the server. I joined the server when a 2x event was and I kept on playing after that since i've reached some cash and some level fast. I think I made lvl 100 în 3 days or something first I started. Grinding without 2x takes alot of time and it's a bit borring. Also, I made 100 so fast because someone told me to fish to gain level fast. Maybe 2x events will be more often or make 2x only for new players from time to time(if this is possible).

2x events/happy hour would be a great idea. this should be staggered so it allows players from all timezones to take part tho

Thank you for being unnecesary mean. You need glasses. I said more often, I know it's not possible every week. The thing that ruined the economy was casino. One day every 2/3 months wont be such a huge issue and people will login to play cnr and not just dm each other. Also, if you read the suggestion, I said if this is not possible, make it for new players only so they will feel like they progress, not hitting a wall when joining.

If you mean by ruining the economy that people will hold 100m+ and stuff, before reset players were complainig about it while there where like 4-5 players out of 200-300 that actually had that much. If you mean the fact that the prices of good houses are really high, that's because people are not selling and you have to convince them(something that cannot be fixed). I think casino brought alot of money last time into the server and screwed the economy with that dude that made billions and he bought all houses of game with 10m and shit. I don't think 2x eyes 2/3 months for 1-2 days will fuck the economy, I think it will brong new players

economy hyperinflation was 100% caused by the release of casinos. upon release, everyone caught on that the horse betting machines gave consistent wins, which resulted in some pretty quick changes. video poker was also causing hyperinflation with regular huge payouts, but not everyone knows how to play poker so wasn't identified quickly.

EDIT: seems like there were also plenty of bugs being abused as well

whilst inflation prompted this "great reset" and is a legitimate concern - regular "happy hour" events encourages both new and existing players onto MCNR, especially when "[2x HAPPY HOUR]" can be seen in the server name. also, 2x would only apply for a short duration of time.

I think this would be preventable if a 2x event was for a short duration, i.e. an hour. but as I said above, this would need to be staggered to allow players from all timezones to take part.
