Since the update where 'cops can only take down a suspect who is a threat', there have been numerous misunderstandings whether a suspect is a threat or not.
My suggestion(s):
1. From a list of things that make you a 'threat' as a suspect, if you've done one of these things in the past 5 minutes (expiration date would be nice), show that above the player's nickname, the same like how the bounty sum is being shown if you have a bounty on yourself.
About the timer, if you do another thing that makes you a threat, just put the "invisible" timer back to 5 mins. If 5 minutes have passed without doing any threats AND you are not most wanted, then the cops can no longer take you down.
2. What would greatly help in complaints, on your POV, where the wanted level stars are being shown, show something like that there as well:
Because people might lie about being a threat since they can't see the "THREAT" string above their name, but if it's shown on their screen, they can't lie.
3. I also know there can be situations where cops can still take down suspects who are not threats like if they are trying to get away by swimming but for such scenarios maybe show that in the logs as well? "Swimming with X wanted level"
This will greatly help in complaints.
I am mostly thinking for the complaints perspective, if I missed something, let me know.
