For a while now, it seems like every suggestion with big community approval behind it is rejected for basically no reason.

Suggestions has become to feel like a hypothetical talking board for mcnr, like "what if this happened in mcnr?" instead of actual suggestions for improving/adding gameplay.

I completely agree with this philosophic standpoint, It sounds like Mike is detached from the community, and we need understanding and not just Mike's likings on what is good or bad.

Community votes matter. The community knows what they want more than the developers right now (if that wasn’t obvious enough). If we’re all getting ignored then MCNR is truly gonna keep on falling.

I don't mean to be mean to anyone but when a suggestion gets massive support by the community it means its what they want, and when it gets rejected simply because the idea itself isn't appealing to higher ranks it just sucks...

In it's essence, the updates are pushed out in order to please the community and the playerbase. This is the case in ANY GAME. Feedback coming directly from the community is insanely invaluable and is what pushes good games forward. The general unhappiness of the community is deflected in the numbers of active players and while the server is doing well as of right now it wouldn't come as a surprise if we saw any sort of decrease simply because the amount of features being pushed out in contrast to their quality is not good.

I'd rather wait like 2-3 months without a single update in order to see amazing improvements like new robbable locations, economy overhaul, cop rework etc... instead of having an update pushed out every now and then containing stuff like campfires or speakers.

Main priority right now should be fixing the economy as thats the CORE of the gameplay. Every activity players commit to is supposed to generate income. If said income is pointless, they'll resort to other activities such as deathmatching. Economy should be re-worked from the ground up and if that somehow can't happen, regular resets wouldn't go astray. If economy is neglected, everything is pointless such as the new casino system(which no one uses although its a nice addition), robberies(even if more locations are added, whats the point if money is worthless?), medics so on and so forth.

We need meaningful and impactful updates. The potential is insane, however certain aspects of the game really need some work.

Every time I reject a suggestion I get hassled about it like I'm supposed to accept every stupid suggestion that's made that doesn't align with my vision of the server..

Yes, I want feedback, and yes, I listen to the community, and yes, I want to appease the community and give them what they want, but not at the expense of adding/changing something I don't agree with.
I have a vision of what MCNR is, by design and function, and people running around with CJ animations, running around with RPG, and cops nuking someone out of existence because they had a fender bender is not my vision for MCNR, so the suggestions get rejected.

If you don't like it, there are plenty of servers/games you can play that don't even _take_ suggestions at all, nevermind review and reply to a majority..
