Instead, I believe that the staff (O.M or Managers) should take action on the matter, in the roles of the staff it is always mentioned that they have the DUTY to make MCNR a safe place for their players and avoid situations like this.
And then ... the toxicity that never ends makes you sick, a player is not only buttfucked but also teased.
Now you'll say "this is the internet" well I can't blame you, but we are within a community run by people who have a duty to avoid situations like this.
Ninja you were a fool to trust that guy, you could have asked an admin to supervise the transaction as Mike also recommends doing:
"MCNR staff may be able to act as a middleman in such situations to protect you, but this is up to individual admins and we do not guarantee this. Nor do we guarantee the admin won't be doing the scamming (but of course they won't be admin much longer after that..)."
Trusting is good but not trusting is better.
