in my opinion, mike no longer wants to commit more than the bare minimum to MCNR.
Mike can't dedicate the time that MCNR needs right now simply because Mike doesn't have the time to do it and he wants to (if you want to do something you'll find time)
I say this also because some features promised for years have not yet been implemented, just see that
https://mikescnr.com/forum/index.php/topic,33.0.html was updated 3 years ago....
I can understand that he works, he has his own life and also his problems, but MCNR was born from him (he said it took him years to develop it) so he must assume the responsibility that if MCNR dies it is only his fault (the community is a consequence) and if for 3 years we haven't seen any major game-changing updates, then I have to think that Mike doesn't feel like updating anymore.
I don't know how long MCNR will last, also because it's not the first time such a discussion has been created and nothing ever changes, you always read the usual answers from the staff but in the end nothing concrete.
In my opinion, by 2025/2027 we will see the end of MCNR (if not before) I hope that Mike is working behind that PC and releases something concrete that satisfies the requests and needs of the community.
Mike discards suggestions that are really beautiful only because he would never be able to find the time and above all the will to do it.
We all know that before releasing an update, various tests and tests are done, and before that god only knows how difficult it is to turn an idea into code, but nothing concrete has been seen for years and unfortunately these are the facts.
To date, many players have left MCNR, and new players get tired of the monotony and quit at some point.
Change my mind...
