My guess is that the admins were attempting to speed up the event by spawning a monster truck and pursuing the karts, as derby events can take a long time to complete.

i sincerely apologize you were eliminated that way, i didn't even know it was possible for anyone's car to take damage from the truck if the Monster truck was empty.

that was exactly what it was, however it was bad luck you were at that spot exactly when monster was spawned
