Fishing - Catch of the day

    - What happened? I was fishing, then the catch of the day was announced. I catch the bonus fish, and I didn't receive the $5000.
PS: I cast the line 4/6 seconds before the bonus fish was annouced.

Can't see why this would happen from looking at the rather straight-forward code. Will have to do some testing.

I have tested this and cannot seem to find a problem or replicate this issue. The next version (after 1.2.2 R1) will have a debug log when catching a fish, which shows the fish ID of the CotD and the fish ID that you caught. For example Amberjack is fish ID 0. If this happens again type /showeventlog and send me a screenshot or chat log of it.

It's possible that the fishing script crashed between when it says 'You caught an Amberjack' and when it says 'You caught the catch of the day'. Some stuff involving inventory happens between those things.

Did you have a full inventory?
Do you remember if you got cash/score for that catch?

EDIT: Just tested with a full inventory and it simply throws the fish back, but you didn't have that message in your chat. It would still give CotD prize.

Still unable to replicate. Tried forcing CotD to be set just before, during and after casting the line, and while reeling it in, and it always gets awarded.
