Currently, bailing out of jail has a set fee, but I believe introducing a progressive bail system could add an extra layer of depth to our gameplay and provide a valuable economic balance mechanism.
Current System Overview:
Currently, players have the option to bail out of jail for a fixed fee when their sentence is finished. It doesn't contribute much to the game's economy and jail is so boring.
Proposed Progressive Bail System:
This mechanism allows players to bypass jail time for a price. The system that's used now will still be there, just adding this other option.
My suggestion is to introduce a progressive bail system where the bail amount increases with each subsequent use. You don't need to do the jail time, you can just bail out before time is over, but for big amounts of cash. Here's how it could work:
Initial Bail Amount: The first time you use the bail option, the cost might be set at a reasonable figure, let's say 10,000$.
Incremental Increase: Every time you utilize the bail option, the subsequent bail fee would double. So, the second time it would be 20,000, the third time 40,000, and so on.
Reset Mechanism: To prevent excessive inflation and keep things interesting, the bail prices would reset after a real-world day has passed, similar to the gambling limit.
Benefits of the Progressive Bail System:
Economy Balance: Players will have the option to spend money here and maybe will reduce the insane amounts of cash they own.
Strategic Decision-Making: Players would need to weigh their options, deciding if paying an increasingly steep bail fee is worth avoiding jail time.
