I may agree with a cop fee for property damage though. Even if it was an accident, police should be held accountable for the state of their vehicles. Unless the damage was inflicted by others, then it should be on the state.

Yes i agree it limits the gameplay.. but criminal side is already limited by the low amount of shit we can do... rob bank.. thats the only actual thing we as criminals can do other than killing cops

Make them lose weapons on the floor where they suicide ( died with explosion ) so civs/cops could take this weapons. So these suicidal cops won't try to do it again

Done once or twice, it's fun, but cops now use this as the base of their gameplay. They lure you to a foot fight and just kaboom you, you will probably die without having any defense against it. We shouldn't make a rule against cops suiciding, but we can make it so that a cop dying actually makes him lose something.

Punishing a suicide is a dumb idea for real.At the end it is a own choice of a player if he wants to suicide or not.Also even when you die because of an explosion nearby is shown as a suicide,but nerfing cops and making them lose more when they die would be a good idea which has been suggested a lot.

I can't imagine any kind of rule being implemented to punish for suiciding on purpose, it's hellishly hard to prove whenever someone will do it on purpose or not.
On the other hand, we've acknowledged the issue and are currently thinking about penalties for cops who recklessly waste their lives.
