Could be a pretty cool idea, for example, make it always the case for group members. Where when the robbery starts, chat prompt tells them, for example, "type /share to vote for sharing the robbed sum" and if all the members in the group, or maybe 80%, type /share, then the final rob sum will be shared equally between the group members

 This would mean no group member would be left out in case they die, but it takes the money from the rest of the members, of course, to divide it equally across all the group members.

Now the problem would be, what if there's more people in the group chat? people that aren't robbing, or are even cops, medics etc.. How would you approach this?

We fought 1v1 and he quit there's no q2a in this, what's there to avoid anyways, you were 700 meters away from him which wouldn't even show on his radar, I think people are misusing the term "q2a". Quit To Avoid is when you're near death and being attacked or killed and you purposely quit to avoid the death, not when some cop 2 minutes away from you wants to kill you but couldn't reach you in time lol


PS: He quit 5 seconds after you /gps'd him, which means you weren't even chasing him prior to this, and he wasn't running away. Guy just quit and you happened to be close

Currently cop bribes are limited by a count, which resets every 10 minutes I think, basically you can only bribe 3 people then you get a cooldown, while this has its advantages I think switching to a "Bribe Amount Limit" would make more sense, say I can bribe as many people as I want as long as this bribe amount doesn't exceed $10k for example, which resets after 10 minutes just like the current system

Why:
  • Makes cops more sensible when giving bribes, so they won't spam people with $10k bribes and expect the players to accept it
  • Allows cops to bribe more people, for example out of jail, which keeps the action flowing, instead of the criminals just waiting in jail for 3-4 minutes everytime they get arrested, it gives cops the option to release the criminals as many times as they want while not taking advantage of them because of the amount limit (they would do $500 per bribe for instance)
  • Adding on the second point, the cops always have the option NOT to offer a bribe if the action seems too intense

Problem:
  • How would a player offering a cop bribes work? Would it deny them the option to offer a bribe, if the cop is already beyond the bribe amount limit? Or if the bribe offered exceeds this amount?
Solution:
  • Give players the option to offer any bribe, no matter the amount (within $10k) even if it makes the cop exceed the limit, thus the cop will have something like ($12,123/$10,000) and therefore he is now beyond the limit, unable to offer or accept bribes. To clarify, this is only from the criminal's side, a cop shouldn't be able to offer a bribe higher than the sum left for his amount limit

This solution is just off the top of my head ^ If you have another idea in mind let me know in the replies but I think this would really be good for keeping the server alive at times where all the criminals seem to get arrested and most cops are unwilling to bribe, while the few cops willing to bribe are already at their bribe limit, it balances out because the bribing cops cannot abuse this either

Fix Pending / Cannot /fish or offer medic services in boats

New update changed the method for detecting if a player is in water so now if you're in a boat it considers you in water, this means:
- no equipping items while on the boat, that includes but is not limited to: fishing rod, so you cannot fish while on a boat, which sucks.
- cannot offer medic services (could be a real scenario if someone was fishing on a boat and caught an std and medic tried to help them etc.. Even if it's a rare necessity to do such things, it should still be possible
This bug is global and every player will experience it if replicated.

What is the point of having to read it for 10 seconds, anybody can rob/kill/arrest you during this time and you cannot do anything, can't close it, decline or accept it, you can keep the popup it's fine but why is there a timer for it

Not sure if I'm allowed to reply here but a reminder to everyone that the "Staff Disrespect" rule only applies when the player is disrespecting the staff team as a whole, or a similar action, basically directed at the team. NOT when the player disrespects an individual which happens to be a staff member. That's a personal issue and should be kept personal, without including punishment (until another chat rule is broken, such as harassment, family insults, racism etc..)

My point is, calling a staff member "retard" is to be treated the same way as calling a player the same word, however for example: "staff team is retarded" is staff disrespect. This has been confirmed by several staff members if anyone has any doubts.

Good idea on a surface level but the way the current duel works is dissimilar to other servers:
We don't choose a single weapon to request a duel or whatever
We use the same weapons we had, which means if this was implemented, the script would have to set all your current weapon ammo to 9999 and then restore it at the end of the duel, unless there's a chosen preset (For example all duels have infinite uzi instead of whatever smg you had) but no one would like that, some people like to duel with a combat shotgun instead of a sawnoff

To keep it short, I'm not sure how easy this will be to implement and how we would plan on making it work: Maybe you get to choose a weapon for every category from a menu before sending the duel request, but this would cause disagreements between players Eg:"NO DONT CHOOSE UZI I WANT TEC9, RESEND DUEL, DENY" and whatever..

but other than that, if you guys think there's an easier way to implement this, I'm all for it, +1

Just confirmed with a manager, I was given the wrong information about "camping in ammunation" and the actual fact is that it's allowed, lol. Ammunation is a public environment and there's multiple ammunations that you can go to, it isn't like the bank, which is unique for every city. Therefore, the whole situation between me and you could've ended early with me denying your reports, but still, I tried to make sure that your report is valid, and in the end it wasn't, but I still consulted higher staff so I can treat your report fairly. However you couldn't wait and you wanted an instant decision and decided to call me useless and insult me when that didn't happen. It's fine, you were getting killed and that's frustrating, to add to that, I killed you while you were taking out your frustration on someone you believed to be breaking rules. Completely understandable, but I would still ask you to be considerate of my stance in such situations due the fact that there's stuff that goes on behind the scenes that you're unable to see, and thus it's unfair to make an assumption about the whole team's work simply because you don't see what we're doing and if we don't reply to your report instantly, it doesn't mean we're not working on it

PS: I (we) still appreciate that you're reporting rulebreakers and encourage you to continue doing so, and remember it's all love

astro you reported 3 cops for camping outside ammu and when I checked they were near their car taking photos or testing something (with Behind) and I even got them to jump on my car roof and drove them away from Ammu, then you attacked one of them and when I killed you, you called me a "Fuckin idiot" and said I was "fucking around" instead of "doing what I'm supposed to do". You also kept your /assist ticket open for 8 minutes after the cops left the area

1- why're you so determined to get 2 players punished for being near ammu? Sure it's not allowed to camp but they weren't even there for criminals and it was obvious
2- I could've respawned them, but there was a situation in staff chat which made me postpone my decision, don't think I can disclose it but you should know I checked your reports and checked the players, just because you didn't see it happen doesn't mean I'm "fucking around"
3- Situation had nothing to do with the players' scores, the player you reported was issued a 0 point infraction but I replied with "Punished" because it's still an infraction, rather than a verbal warning, if you really think I didn't punish the other players because of their score then we have VERY different thought processes

I hope you understand that I don't have anything against you and that you shocked me when you unnecessarily lashed out on me in-game over something so silly

This situation you are describing is not the reason for your Cophunt infraction

You were actually infracted for cophunting and killing me after we killed Clink and Rage. in Angel Pine Junkyard.

1- You had no active revenge on me
2- All suspects near us were dead when you attacked me (Both you and Arpa were innocent)
3- There is message proof of you telling Arpa "Let's go to Roro" which shows you didn't randomly run into me and try to help other criminals, you simply wanted to target me.

Why you didn't have revenge on me:
You were driving a car near many MWs and you started driveby shooting me, you damaged me, I killed you, 10 seconds later another player "Nicholas" killed me. According to the shared revenge rule - which you would know if you keep up with the rules, and you don't - your revenge was claimed by Nicholas because you damaged me within 2 minutes before my death, thus you contributed to my death and your revenge was claimed, any further killing would be considered RDM/Cophunt, however you did not seem to care, and still went for me.

"I didn't know" is not a valid excuse, rules are right there for you to read, and this rule is not even that new, it's been this way since October 26th and I quote Karbz:

3. If you contribute to the death of a player in ANY WAY that counts as your revenge claimed. ANY DAMAGE towards the player up to 2 minutes before their death counts as a ‘contribution’ to their death and your revenge on them is claimed.

A person like you with 11 infraction points is expected to be more careful when committing actions that might potentially be against the rules, and seeing your history of bans (you were banned for skipping animations literally last week) it seems like you haven't learned your lesson.

I personally would not give you a second chance, but I'll leave it to a higher staff member to decide.
