I honestly don't see a reason to add this..
Currently in 8/10 times you can chase down a bullet with a normal LS cruiser. The only moments you will lose if it's in a straight road, for example LS-LV highway or the highway around LV.
Everywhere else you can get the crims as easy as baking chocolate chip cookies.
If you got a partner that comes with you, it's even easier... One tire pop and the chase is over.

Yeah, Flyburger pretty much hit the nail on the head.

The economy has been f'd over for more then half a year at least. The reason being that it wasn't properly thought through from the beginning, thus we need to the reset.

You propose this is avoided by just adding stuff like gambling. That won't solve the issue at all, since the properties, cars, weapons have already been bought and those are the real money spenders, not gambling. Even if gambling was a thing, it wouldn't be widely used.

The only way this whole shabang is going to work is if everything gets wiped, not just cash. So score, cars, houses, levels, all of it.

I like the idea of businesses, I really do.
But there are multiple issues right now that intertwine some way with this.
1. Economy is completely ducked right now, I have no clue how far Mike is with fixing this, but he has said it's an issue, so I'm still voting for a wipe.
2. Cash currently can't be spent on anything super useful. You get your 1-2 fast cars and you don't really need anything else. You can grab a few weps and be good for a long time.
3. This system would just reinforce rich people to become more rich.

I just think it's quite a pointless thing, in my eyes, it just promotes fighting between crims for no reason other than to kill someone, there's no use for it.

Cause I can see people just unloading on someone with all their weapons, because they got punched once by accident or some crap.

There's barely any reason to have the police call function at all.
Every crime that is commited already gets instantly reported to the officers chatbox with exact location details as well. I've never seen anyone use it, even if they did, would be pointless.

Both sides have their points.
I believe if there's more then one criminal around it should be allowed to taze and headshot.
If it's a one on one situation, if the cop manages to pull a tazer shot off, it should be their priority to arrest first, shoot second.

On like a real serious note, what do you guys think are the very best games ever made? And give some real background proof to solidify your statement. And please don't post bullshit.

I think the best game ever made is Half Life 2.
It's graphics were decently revolutional back then and still live up to some high standards, people who think we need shaders and global illumination can literally kill themselves xD.
The biggest thing it brought to the table were the games physics! Since it has plenty of small, yet important physics based puzzles. They're quite simple and you never really get stuck, but they're a good side activity from just killing stuff.
Weapon gameplay is also quite on point, every weapon has its uses and you can't complete the whole game with only one gun (without trying super on purpose), because weapon ammo is spread very balanced and you'll run out of it quickly on the waves of combine that'll try and kill you.
Speaking of combine, Half Life 2 or really Half Life in general, has one of the best stories ever made it's so wide and you can have so many branches of it. Obviously, since Half Life: Alyx just released we got a crap ton of additional info regarding the story which is great!

I am quite confused on this issue as well.. As much as I've played on this server, cbugging has never been allowed, yet when you look around everyone's doing it... So then it is or it isn't?

And whilst we are on the topic of combat, the reload animation is supposed to happen if you switch to a different weapon and that weapon doesn't have maximum ammo, right? Well you can just ignore that completely by placing 2-4 seconds inbetween your weapon switches, so you just walk around the restriction.

Cop job xp and paycheck has been buffed in this next update I believe, cash bags inside the bank will be able to get recovered by the cops (unless they are down in the vault area - there is a technical limitation preventing me from allowing you to pick them up in that area). The recover amount will likely become a percentage of the bags value.

I thought of the robbing more frequently being more profitable issue, which is why the starting amount in the vault is so low, to keep it from being more profitable.

Will look into blocking bank rob if there is not enough officers online... but then that prevents the ability to make money at all "illegally" when the other type of robberies suck balls still, Might have to delay this one until other things have been rebalanced appropriately.

That's why I'm asking, will this be just a regular small update that changes bank around or will you do a full reset which will include changes to all the ways money goes IN and OUT of the server? Besides that as I said, stuff like level unlocks and what not need to be re-balanced, it's bs right now kind of.

I actually really like this proposal. This would *hopefully* fix the issue of the bank being robbed every day, whilst it can still be done.

What I think you should compare is what if we had 2x the multiplier, bank spawns with 20k at the start of the week and then compare this:
- Robbing once per two days
- Robbing on cooldown

How does the outcome compare, maybe it'll be just as good to rob with less cash, but more frequently then to wait the two days, completely negating the use of this proposed idea.

Another part I would touch on is the cop:civ ratio. You mention that the bags value would be only 75% if there are 0 cops, but I really think you should out right make it so if there are not X cops online (let's say 4 or 5) that you can't rob the bank at all. Because it doesn't really matter if there's little cash, if there's no resistance, even that little cash will get camped.
Whilst situations of there almost being no cops has drastically reduced, it'll still happen from time to time.

Other then that, it's a good idea.

On another note that I'd like to ask you, is when do you plan to implement this? From what I got, it's going to come out as a regular update. There was also talk about a cash & score reset, what's up with that? Because the bank isn't the only thing that needs to be re-aligned. If you're going to re-do the cash on the bank, might as well go over everything that gives cash. That's store robberies, cop job of various types, the civ jobs and everything else I didn't mention. Besides that also the places you spend money need a re-doing. The unlock system should be also re-done.

Okay, well that's like 30 seconds of checking mate. You gotta' do it for an extended period of time, let's say an hour or two, then compile the information. Mostly check out the time in ms (miliseconds) and also the packet loss.
Also here's a decent website to do a speed test, so would be great if you can do it once or twice in different times of day when you might play and place the screenshots in here.
