There was no case for revenge against me either.

Under Consideration / Re: Systems Computer in each PD hackable for civilians

I'm more inclined to agree with the satchel idea than the hacking to unlock part. Not everything needs to be cracking of some sort. But then again, the average player is in jail for two minutes, so how much do you need these types of systems? Maybe simple is best.

By the time the player gets himself a satchel or starts cracking, you'd already be halfway done through your sentence. Even just getting to the PD surely takes a minute for the average joe.

EDIT: if this gets implemented, I am strongly against the idea of cracking someone out of prison through one of the smaller police stations in the towns. That makes no sense in my opinion.

Implemented Suggestions / Time Trial respawn suggestion

Hello,

I've been playing these time trials lately and it's very annoying how you have to drive all the way back to the Time Trial start position to retry. I suggest you make it so the player respawns next to the icon after he aborted or completed the time trial, as soon as you bring him back to the 'real' world. I feel as if this is a suggestion that should be easy to implement and would improve QoL.

On a side note, I'd also suggest paying the amount per try instead of having to reset all cooldowns using the command, maybe by making a prompt that asks for 500$/1000$ on car entry.

I tried my best to make the interiors match the exteriors. I am not a fan of people changing them because we'll end up with interiors not matching the exteriors even worse than what it is now.

Yeah, I expected you to say that, which is why I suggested the house go back to the default interior in case of the house being sold.

The houses in SF towards Bayside(the small blocky houses next to each other) all have much larger interiors than their exteriors, at least from the ones that are currently available for purchase. I'm guessing they were all like that but only I had my fake OCD activate.

I am against completely removing it but rather checking as someone previously mentioned if the player has fired any shots. Keep in mind there are a lot of players from faraway countries(Paki, USA, Brazil...) that this could be a big issue to. Worst case scenario, halve the spawn protection, but a big no-no to removing it.

Hello,

it's come to my attention from searching through houses that some interiors wildly mismatch the exteriors. This is mostly the problem with smaller, cheaper houses(especially in San Fierro) where, instead of having a room or two at most, they either have long hallways or are multi-floored. I'd personally rather have a smaller interior to fit the small house than a TARDIS machine, but I understand these interiors can't feasibly be fine-tuned to each player's tastes. So, I'm suggesting that you make the interiors changeable.

You could make it so the house has a default interior which reappears after the house is sold, but otherwise(if the player wishes so and has paid the money for it) has the custom interior. Of course, the interior change should cost a bit of cash. The smaller the new interior, the cheaper.

This is not a priority suggestion, since it's purely esthetic, so I don't expect it to be implemented anytime soon. Just wanted to get it out there.

3. Well cops can instantly call their cop cars near them without waiting, so why not personal vehicles? Although the current waiting system for arrival is just fine and balanced, I think pvs should spawn closer to you as opposed to how it currently is. +1

I don't mind the cops having an advantage or the fact that you need to wait a bit for your car to spawn, I just absolutely hate when my car spawns somewhere borderline inaccessible.

I personally think that cops SHOULD have the upper hand in mobility and general damage, since it's harder to chase than to run in my opinion. Seasparrows and Rustlers are perfectly fine and aren't that easy to use anyway, but Rhinos, Hydras, or the big attack helicopter is just way too much and is borderline BS. Since there is only one class of criminal that police are allowed to actually kill, and you don't get to Most Wanted that often, bringing out the big guns is unecessary.

Since all the suggestions are about one topic, I think it'd be easier if they were in one post.

1. Cops SHOULD NOT be able to enter private vehicles.
Reason is obvious. They abuse the fact that they don't get wanted while stealing a private vehicle, and at the same time render a civilian immobile, because in order for the civilian to go anywhere without getting wanted, they need a vehicle. (However, I do understand why they don't get wanted when stealing random vehicles. That is perfectly fine by me.) This brings me to my second point:

2. You SHOULD NOT be yellow after entering a private vehicle, which was beforehand used by the police or another player.
Should be obvious as well, this might even be considered a bug. I have gotten this one almost way too much. Someone steals MY OWN car, and I get yellow when coming back into it. Some cops seem to know about this and intentionally kick me out of my car to get in themselves, make me pay the fine, and when I get back I have to pay the fine again.

3. Private vehicles should spawn closer to you, and the spawn point should also be limited by altitude.
The reason is this: if you have ever spawned your private vehicle, let's say near the Los Santos bank, there is a chance that it will end up in Vinewood, which is both very far, and very high up. While I do find the idea of it spawning nearby interesting and it doesn't bother me if it actually spawned well, there are moments where it just goes way too far, or gets glitched, or is generally inaccessible unless you drive to it, which misses the point of you spawning your own car nearby.

4. You should be able to get vehicle insurance, which would work similarly to the house insurance.
For example, if you crashed your own car, or if someone else did it, you should pay 2x less the price. In return, each day you pay 10-500$, depending on how expensive your car is originally. So, I personally drive a Blista Compact, so I should pay about 60-80$, while a player who drives an Infernus should pay 500$.(I haven't really gotten the prices right but that should be easy to modify.) It's obvious that this should be a per-vehicle thing, since it goes according to the prices of the car when you first bought it. If you really want to dig into this, you can also make it so vehicle upgrades play a role: for example, if the car had 10x Nitrous, his insurance price should be slightly higher. This might be overly complicated for something that should be simple, so I don't care if you include the last part or not.

(the last point WAS suggested before, but I disagree with the idea that the person who crashed the car should pay, because it personally makes no sense. For example, why should I pay for the fact that I shot down an Infernus that couldn't turn on at all, was at extremely low hp, and I just happened to be the one to finish it off? Not to mention, this would be a huge blow to new players, especially when talking about more expensive cars, that they are inclined to get in 99% of the time.)

5. Players should NOT get wanted when stealing a random vehicle, but should when they steal a private vehicle.
Reason for this is because new players, when starting out, immediately end up with little to no money since they get bombarded with fines right from the get go. They don't know yet that they have to buy their own car first, nor do they have enough money to do so. Not to mention, when you're wanted, even if it's just yellow, most of your actions are blocked and you can't do much, either pay the fine or wait a decent bit of time to get rid of the wanted level. It's just a very unfun feature, and while I understand that you're going down the realism route with this, this is one thing that should be cut down on to not immediately scare players away.(Also, they should get notified when a certain car is private BEFORE prompted to break in, so they know they aren't supposed to get in).

Please do tell me if this is too many suggestions in one post, I will gladly seperate them.

I made it a point to completely apologize to her if my 'insult' inconvenienced her, but I still didn't consider myself to be in the wrong. As I got no response from the administrator(who, again, I assume was clara), I came to the forums to complain about some '5 infraction points' I got assigned. I don't know how the infraction points work or how many you need to collect to get a permament mute, or even a ban from this server, but to be on the safe side, I'd personally like for them to be removed because it seems like I did something terribly wrong, when a thing like this could just be solved by a simple private message saying something along the lines of 'hi, can you please not say this anymore, I'm offended by it', rather than a 10 minute mute and 5 infraction points.

It seems that I can't upload the full chatlog because of the thread size restriction, however please, if you have a way of uploading the entire chatlog, I will do so immediately. I wrote the part below having in mind that I could do that, but I left it anyway.

(I find it extremely baffling how someone can say to another player, as you'll see in the chatlog, 'fuck you you piece of shit' without a bat of an eye, while when I say something meaningless and meant in a fun manner, I get infracted and muted for it, while beforehand I showed absolutely no bad behavior to assume that I am using it in an offensive manner.)

I'd also like to add that it seems like a lot of crashes have been happening recently and this only started when I started using my bugged car. Both me and a couple friends are now getting crashes, which seems unrelated, but most often the crash is when a player's draw distance just loaded the car. Would love this to get fixed. Good luck.

- What happened?
 So, here's the story. My friend just bought a Club and I bought an Euros car at the Los Santos dealership. The TransFender garage didn't work for him apparently, so I offered to fix his car up instead of him. He gave me some cash and I went in, installed him a hood scoop, a spoiler, 10x Nitrous, and I think that was about it. Also colored it black. He drove away with it, and later on told me that his decals/new parts didn't stick with his car and that it might have something to do with the fact that I installed it instead of him. Later on, me and my other friend tried out the car spawning thing after sending it away to the garage. I spawned mine back to myself, and a couple of errors appeared on the screen(something about opcode, I'm no expert). I got to the car, and it seems like the decals I bought for my first friend's car(the Club) transferred to my car(the Euros). I'm pretty sure this was the case because Euros doesn't allow for almost any changes to it besides the couple basic ones, and I'm sure I bought new wheels and NO nitrous.

In the screenshots you will see that I have both the hood scoop, the 10x Nitrous, and the spoiler, on a car that doesn't allow for most of those things, which you can also see in one of the screenshots. The color didn't translate though, since I remember coloring mine white and his black, so the color stuck to my car. Also, it seems like only some of the car add-ons apply from car to car, since I also installed some Vents on his car, and those didn't apply to mine.

Hopefully this helps you in figuring out the bug, unless this is an intentional thing(which I doubt). I personally wouldn't have made much of a fuss about it if it didn't bother me, and I'm not about to sell my car to buy it back again since that's some big money for someone who just started a couple days ago.

- Is this a reoccurring issue? Has it happened to you or others before?
 I honestly have no clue, it seems like this is the first time.

- Please provide steps for us to reproduce the issue ourselves, if possible.
 1. Take another player's car and mod it
 2. Send your car away, and then bring it back with the menu when holding Y
 3. Voila.
(this method is not tested and I can't guarantee you will recreate the bug, however this is what I assumed will recreate this particular bug.)
