Neither am i saying it should be. I'm trying to say chat violations shouldn't result in permabans, that's all

Why was this ban/infraction wrongfully issued?	Nowhere in the rules does it say it's allowed to ban someone for something they said in chat. I find this very unfair. At most i can comprehend a temp-ban or a mute.
What was the situation which lead to this wrongful ban/infraction? What was happening?	Me and my friend eggo (who also got banned for the same exact reason at roughly the same time) were making jokes in chat. Might i add it was literally a single message from either of us. After that followed a 5min mute and roughly a minute after a permaban for both of us.
Any witnesses that can vouch for you?	As said previously, eggo who was playing with me and basically anyone who was online at the moment
Any more information to provide?	I fully acknowledge something like what we did should be punishable, but definitely not by a permaban.
