Fixed Bugs / When changing licence plate as mechanic it also repairs bodywork

i have noticed that when a player calls for a mechanic and requests a licence plate change, it will change the licence plate and also repair car bodywork. i tried to get a video but its hard as a solo player as not many request the plate change. (if any testers are online and want to meet me in game thats fine)

Today i noticed when i turn the job vehicle beacon lights on (holding N while driving) it will also send the player surrenders in the main chat. thanks

sometimes i have noticed in all the citys, when you want to stunt on the bicycle it will spin you around mid air and chuck you off and also display bug abuse will not be tolerated in the chat. this had lead to me dying more than once and also getting arrested.

This seems to happen mainly when jumping over cars, roof hopping, attempting to climb the bridge in San Fierro next to PD will always set this off.
Also i have noticed when tapping sprint to ride faster (as intended on GTA) to try and evade cops 90% of the time i get caught because its picking me up as bug abusing.

i can assure you i am not abusing any bugs (that i know off) as i am only using in game features and trying to do stunts, but i am worried this could lead me to a false ban if the anti-bug system does see this to many times occuring. thanks

This is just a suggestion, i understand scripting is hard and you only have control over certain aspects of the game-play, but at times it can be hard to locate players who call for a mechanic especially when they are out of the active city and /loc is the only way i have found to find them reliably. So maybe a GPS function can be implemented only to mechanics or medics that can help to locate the player who called. IMO this would be a good feature. what do you think?

I say only mechanics and medics can use this feature as it could be used for advantages/disadvantages to other jobs. i assume it could be made possible as it would be very similar to the current GPS system on missions, plus once the players car needs repairing they cant move it anyway.

Yes no problem, i will try and record next time i am looking for catch of the day.. The Crab i can understand as it attacked me and got away, thankyou for explaining the double crab situation. That makes sense. But the Amberjack fish i caught twice within the same game day really confused me. I will ignore this and try and record the next time it happens. Thankyou, C_M

Today i was fishing trying to catch the fish for the COTD (catch of the day) i caught the amberjack twice and also i caught the crab but that attacked me and damaged my health. On all 3 occasions (i managed to grab screen log of 2) i never got the cash bonus and it did'nt mention anything in the chat log about it either. This also happened yesterday when i caught the crab (COTD), i was expecting 10k but did'nt get nothing. i thought it was because it attacked me and damaged my health i did'nt get the reward, but today when i realised i did'nt get rewarded for the amberjack i was confused. I dont have much evidence (only 2 screenshots) but with the update having increased catch of the day rewards maybe something is not working as it is intended.

Whilst i was a mechanic in Las Venturas working at the gas stop close to the bank, my job was collecting an abandoned tow truck. Upon arrival i was not able to attach to the tow eye. i also seen another mechanic trying without success. It will often send me to different tow trucks where the same issue applies. I am unsure if this is a known issue but i thought i would post anyway.

Do a system restore if possible, to the point where before the update causing the problems windows usually have the option to do it in control panel. Question though why are you using 32-bit version if you have 8gb of RAM? It'll only use 4gb of it.

Thanks Funtastic sadly I couldn't access anything it was BSOD all the time.  Currently managed to get my windows 7 back on and bootable.. but I had to remove 8GB of ram and use 1GB of ram.  I think its time to buy 2 new sticks now. It seems to be the culprit

To answer your question I'm mainly a linux user and did have dual boot for this that used my 8GB of ram. I always wondered why I only ever had 3.50gb usable in windows applications. Thanks for the tip xD and your input. I will be back on MCNR at long last!!

Ight Peeps... Im facing difficulties with my system... its not really an issue regarding Mikes Cops and Robbers BUT it is affecting me as i am unable to play

Basically all was good on my 15 year old system.. it was running win 7 32 bit faultless!... i was playing as normal when my system updated something and asked for a restart.
well thats when it started... I Had BSOD and was unable to boot... unable to install any OS... nothing it was totally dead!!

This was around 3 weeks ago now... many hours i spent messing around with all different diagnostic tools.. nothing was working... MEMTEST had no errors. HDD got a dose of DBAN and was succesfully formatted.. Gparted made a new partition and partition table... i thought i had found life in the old system again... i was wrong

BSOD errors were pointing to HDD and HDD controllers.. Ok then i put my HDD onto my Laptop eSata... had full access to my drive was able to read and write.. so no problems there... vice versa laptop HDD into Desktop (with a working OS)... got to the win 7 loading screen and as soon as the logo starts to turn system resets and keeps looping...

At this point im very miffed off.. i leave it for a few days... decide to try again... now im going back to win xp what my system came with 15 years ago... all is fine all drivers load and setup says starting... then BSOD again.. What gives!!!

So i am sat here scratching my head watching the same boot loop over and over... and i noticed in the DMI pool data there is some issues going on... somehow my hardware is sharing IRQ numbers!!

Looked all over bios settings... updated my bios... removed hardware one by one untill i was bare minimum (Ram/CPU/HDD/Keyboard/On-board VGA).. Disabled lots off stuff that was using IRQ... and BOOM! it let me install win XP and boot up just fine...

but now i cant connect my Video card or Sound card because its sharing IRQ with my HDD controllers and SM BUS IRQ and doing weird things..

How on this planet can i fix this? without a video card is okay for now... but games wont even load without a sound card

Sorry for the long story, and bad communication but i tried LOL.

Kingston Value Ram DDR2 800 2 x 4GB
Asus/AMD Radeon HD6670 2gb Graphics card
Creative Sound Blaster Sound Card

Everything worked just fine for the last 15 years without fault untill my system updated something and wanted a restart.
All i want is Win 7 back an to be able to play MCNR.
