Add a Shield For Cops

As you read from the title, i think it would be great if we could have a shield while playing as a cop. It is not really useful at closer fights but at longer distances, i think it is. Also it would be more realistic if we see that as a function.

Cops are already overpowered as they are. If you take the ability of a robber to defend himself on higher distances, just make him jailed automatically when a cop approaches him in 40 meters.

Criminals are already struggling in doing bank robberies. Adding these overpowered features for cops would make it a Cop and Medic only server. -1

this can be made into a separate suggestion. But jokes aside after the update the population of criminals is shrinking and everyone is becoming a cop. 10 cops chase a single criminal. -1 from my side

Not possible in SA-MP. There are shields but they don't have their own collisions. You can find a shield.dff and shield.txd in SAMP.img. But, they are only for appearance. Moreover, It's SA-MP, not GTA Online or so.

Bruh... In close range cops have tazer advantage and now you also want advantage in far range too. You're just tryna make it a Cop And Medic server as RedX said..

A shield for cops would be a pretty nice thing, but it should have some limitation like: if you use the shield you can't use M4, AK47, Sniper or any weapons that need 2 hands in game + you can't have dual weapons (sawn-off, colts and etc), it could be protective for like 5-10 bullets, nothing more.

A shield is a nice thing apart from it being a cosmetic item it could have some advantages and disadvantages when equipped.

I would honestly put it for riot purposes (althought none occur). Recieving 30% less damage from everything but only available to hold throwables/melee weapons.

Shield is just an object, not taking damage from a distance can be done with simple coding with 'if-else' statement, object is just for visuals.

I disagree with this. Cops are currently very overpowered imo, this would make the situation even worse.
