LastDamage is To see who shoot you like if criminals shoot you and you don't know so u can use $ldmg to see if he shoot you or not and what time or how long did he shooted you...

Also, why would it be a quick string? Quick strings ($something) are there to allow you to embed information into a chat message either to use in a command or for other players to see, it wouldn't fit its purpose..
